Was easy to get around and skipping the line always makes for a quicker entrance. We probably could have used for more attractions but were very happy with what we did. Thought funicular was discounted but wasn't but was only a few €.

It was easy to arrange and collect the tickets and everything was doable in the time wee needed. HOWEVER, the arena was closed and this was not readily made known whcih was a shame and may have affected our purchase (we would have rated it 'awesome' if it had more up to date information about what you were getting included in your ticket.

Well you could have had dates which were actually available to book rather than hitting me for 58 euros only to find out the venue was closed which was really poor. I'll be leaving a review on socials to warn everyone about your poor company service

Sorry but I didn't get to experience any of the venues as I misplaced my ticket, I guess it fell out of my pocket when I was getting the map out. The chatbot I'm afraid was useless. Just kept going round and round in circles. So I called Headout and spoke with Brian who initially was very helpful and sent through the email again for me to get another ticket. Verona tourist info staff were excellent and very helpful, they explained Headout would need to cancel original booking in order to give me a new reference number and therefore enable me get a replacement ticket. I explained this to Brian on an email, several times that day, but unfortunately got no more response. I usually use Viator and I'm afraid I probably won't use Headout again. Nor recommend them. Sorry. I worked in travel for 20 years and it wasn't Headouts fault that I lost my ticket but the situation could have been easily rectified. I look forward to your response. Kind regards , Claire Weightman

I did NOT use my purchase/ticket. As I made the purchase it was not clear I had to go away from the venue to obtain my ticket. I was under the impression that I could enter the Arena in Verona right at the entrance. I made my purchase minutes before wanting to enter. Therefore I did not even use this purchase and lost my money.

Simple to use and, above all, very cost-effective. I wanted to see a lot of things, and if I had paid for the tickets individually I would have spent a lot more money! I highly recommend buying it, especially if you're staying overnight in the city.

One day card is enough. Concluding scenic spots and public transportation. Need to get the paper card, so why not buy it in the Tourist Information?

The convenience of having one card that I could display every time I wanted to visit a museum, maybe I would have liked a few more museums or gardens that I could visit and maybe I would have lifted the euro cost of the elevator to the tower but overall it was a great purchase

Things to know before booking your Verona Arena tickets

Feeling a bit unsure about which tickets to grab? No worries! Let's break it down with a few things to consider before booking.

  • Access to opera: The tickets that provide access to the opera cost €65, and ensure 6th Sector numbered seats on the very steps ancient Romans sat on to watch gladiator battles! You’ll also be provided with assistance at Gate no. 7 of the Arena. For comfort, you can bring your own cushion or purchase them at the stall.
  • Guided tours vs self-guided: Consider opting for the 1 hour guided city tour in Italian, English or German to make sure you catch all the must-see attractions and nearby areas. However, if you're in the mood for adventure and prefer to explore at your own pace, feel free to experience the Arena without a guide!
  • Standard vs skip-the-line tickets: Standard tickets provide access to the Arena without priority entrance, while skip-the-line tickets offer the convenience of bypassing queues for faster entry. Enter the Verona Arena anytime within its operating hours (9am - 6pm) and save time.
  • The Verona card to access other historic sites: We particularly recommend the Verona Arena card as it offers priority entry to the Arena as well as free entry to the Roman Arena, the Roman Theater, and Duomo di Verona, among some other interesting historic sites within Verona.
  • Access for children: Children below the age of 5 are not allowed on the Arena Di Verona Opera Ticket + Guided City Tour as they are not eligible to watch the evening opera performance. Alternatively, the Verona Arena Ticket with City Museums Access allows free entry for those between the ages of 0-17 as long as you can show an ID at the entrance.
