The performance was outstanding. I paid for the Category 1 seats, so we had a great view of the very impressive musicians. Karlskirche is a stunningly beautiful church. I highly recommend this event!
For beginners to classical music, this concert is just the thing! You are sure to know Vivaldi's melodies or parts of the pieces. The setting in the Karlskirche is also particularly beautiful! A real treat! We saw very well. Gladly again!

The concert was beatifull .The Karlskirche is small but WAOUW . My seat for the view was probably not the best but the important was the Sound 🥰 A very beautiful moment
The venue was superb! The orchestra played beautifully!
This review is translated. Show original review.
Very nice atmosphere, Fascinating orchestra and entertaining performance pleasant also due to cushions and blankets.

The church is beautiful, the show was incredible, the musicians are excellent. Impeccable punctuality, and you don't even notice the time passing.

The concert fully met our expectations. The church as a venue for a classical concert is simply atmospheric!

Having just experienced a huge tragedy, the uplifting music with such virtuosity in the most beautiful church was what I needed to uplift my spirits; I cried tears of joy rather than Lamenting over my loss.
The passionate, good musicians and great, super-friendly stewards, great location, excellent organization. All in all a very successful experience. Highly recommended!

The whole group of artists were extraordinary. Great choice for the space used for the presentation, provided the right atmosphere. 10/10
Musicians were top notch. I myself am a retired orchestra teacher and a cellist. I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of the musicians.
Sound result in the church. As a wearer of hearing aids, the very high, delicate tones of the solo violin were also a great listening experience.

Performance was outstanding and of course the 4seasons is just one of the best composituons ever! The whole family enjoyed, 7, 11 and 14 years old kids too. This was the highlight of our visit in Wien.
The music and the orchestra, simply great! Plus the atmosphere in the Karlskirche, good acoustics! It was a really wonderful experience!

The musicians, especially the "first violin", made the concert an unforgettable experience! In addition, the Karlskirche provided the best stage for the concert. We will remember this concert fondly!

The access service was excellent. Excellent assistance with access for our disabled person. The setting and acoustics for the concert were very impressive. The sensitivity of the musicians and the quality of the violin soloist, simply wonderful!!! Our seats were excellent and the view of the band was superb. Price and quality in excellent relation.

everthing, the venue, the concert, the musians. We actually saw the same group 7 years ago in Salzburg, wonderful surprise!!!
It was a great musical experience. It was cold in Vienna that day, so it was a bit chilly in the church despite the blanket. But as it was only 1 hour it was bearable. When booking tickets, you should perhaps say that they are exchanged for paper at the ticket office. I find that cumbersome and environmentally unnecessary.

The church was very beautiful, but the acoustics were worse than expected. You couldn't see the artists and the instruments were quickly out of tune due to the cold.

Karlkische Concert Kudos to the musicians for their performance and the interiors were absolutely breathtaking! However there are a few things I would have preferred to know in advance, and hence i am also sharing them here: 1. Arrive early to queue up (unless you have reserved seats in Category I): we sat in the back of the cathedral, in the second row of seats in our area. We could barely see the stage, because (i) the seats were arranged to align perfectly with the previous row, (ii) the concert hall was flat, and (iii) some tall people were sitting in front of us. To see the performance we had to constantly lean to find a gap between the people in front - that made my neck so sore. This problem might have been avoided had we arrived earlier to get seated in front, but ultimately I think the organisers should consider rearranging the seats so that each person is seated in the gap between those in the previous row. 2. The acoustics isn't great: obviously it is a cathedral, so it will not be equipped with the acoustic equipment you would expect to find in a concert hall. There is little reverberation (if any), which doesn't do justice to the musicians as the sounds from the instruments were trapped near the front and doesn't transport to the back. 3. Repertoire: the show is advertised as Vivaldi's Four Seasons, but in reality it starts with an unrelated piece performed with a piccolo soloist (?) and in between Spring and Summer is an opera. (I apologise if I get the terminology wrong.) At times it became confusing when the orchestra was going to perform Four Seasons, and it's quite obvious that they were not as familiar with the other pieces (rushing the tempo, intonation was off; though the singing was quite good). Overall the concert still worth attending for seeing the architecture in Karlkische but I would have appreciated if I had known the above points in advance.
Very nice evening in a magnificent church with an excellent small orchestra!

Show in wien very special. The seats were poor
The music and performance highly exceeded expectations
The absolutely fantastic interplay of the ensemble in a breathtaking setting - an unforgettable evening

I loved the performance and venue, but there were no WC. Staff is very helpful and organized.
Performance was memorable in an intimate setting inside the church. Great music and engagement with the audience. Highly recommend for a wonderful evening out in Vienna.
If you love string quartets, don't miss this. The venue is beautiful, the acoustics are amazing and the program was top notch. However, I found the pews incredibly uncomfortable. The wooden chairs didn't look much better. But the music was superb. Spend the extra few Euros to sit in Level II seats. No need to go up to Level I. The earlier you arrive, the better the seat you get in the Level you've paid for. The seating is done in a very orderly fashion.
This was the most memorable concert I have ever attended. The atmosphere was stunning. The musicians were excellent. It's so difficult to describe how moving it was to be able to listen to such beautiful music in such an inspiring place. Thank you for this life-changing experience.
The music was beautiful and the venue was indescribably gorgeous. Highly recommend and certainly one of the most memorable aspects of our trip to Vienna.
The ambience was wonderful. It's a shame that so many Asians don't understand that there is a ban on taking photos and recordings.

A very nice performance of various pieces of classical music in a baroque setting!

The venue and music were excellent ... the event moved us to the front row making for an over the top experience.
It was a great overall experience. Great talent and venue!
The venue, the performance of the artists and the variety of composers was fantastic

Good music, unfortunately bad seat quality!

Wonderful music in a magic surrounding🤩
Be in good time and get a seat on front, close to the musicians. Can't stop wondering, while listening, how these composers are still so present, through their music... beautiful!
Musicians performed greatly, very nice clean sound, the audience was also pleasant, everyone was respectful. The temperature in the church was also great in the evening (outside was ~+19)
Great musicians, fascinating atmosphere. If you like classical music and are in Vienna, you shouldn't miss this.

Step into the heart of Vienna for a powerful Giant Organ Concert at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, where Baroque and Romantic organ music fills the air.

Lovely music in a super venue with fine musicians and a great ambience, enhanced by the period costume
The performance was wonderful and the seats gave a perfect view of the orchestra. Ticket collection was straight forward.
Such a wonderful show. Even for a non-classical-music listener like me, it truly engaged me in the atmosphere and I had an unforgettable evening exposing myself to the music and singing. Definitely something you'll have to do when you're in Vienna. Wouldn't miss it for the world.
It was, of course, the music that was presented excellently. The musical performance is something special and deserves the highest praise. We had seats in box 7, front row. A little cramped with five chairs, but the view was still very good.

The beautiful music was great. However people kept coming in after the show started and were very fidgety.
Everything was perfect except your information! You told me that I had to arrive 1/2 before the show to exchange the tickets (i.e. 7.30/7.45 pm). I preferred to pick them up at the official office for security reasons, and that was an excellent initiative! In fact, I had to go to the Imperial Hotel at 6pm for dinner, and at 7:30pm a horse-drawn carriage would take me to the concert (which was not private, and the seats were soaked!). To sum up, if I hadn't had the idea of picking up my tickets in the afternoon, my birthday (the object of this evening) would have been a complete failure! 2 out of 3 performances would have been impossible. It's unacceptable for this price. Either you don't know the service or you're incompetent! Very disappointed by your advisers

The performance was excellent and engaging. Conductor made the whole concert very lively. The only downside was there is no strict enforcement on the photographing and videoing taking during the concert. It was distracting when a group of tourists was videoing while the concert is still ongoing.
I wanted to see this show in the Golden Hall. It's not just the show, but the venue as well that's important. In my seat selection, I took category A of the Golden Hall configuration, in the package for this hall. (See attachment screenshot A). In the end, the tickets are in the Brahm Hall, which I didn't notice when purchasing. (See attachment screenshot B). Even today, I visited your site and you are offering tickets in the Golden Hall configuration as tickets in the Brahm Hall. This is unfair and you have ruined my only visit to Vienna for a concert. So, I paid more for a hall that I didn't get, I am asking for a refund and not a credit, because I am from Canada and my planned trip to Vienna is already in the past, with a certain bitter taste.
Good Experience. Good music. Interesting historical site.

Our seats and the atmosphere of Musikverein were awesome
The performance was great but my seat wasn't very good and I couldn't see well the scene
Unfortunately I couldn't see the orchestra at all. They played really good but we were at the balcony 3rd line and saw nothing that the experience was like listening the music on vinyl. My daughter plays violin and I arranged the concert to let her experience what it is like to be in a grand music theatre but it was a waste of time and money.
Uncomfortable to get tickets
A wonderful house and a fantastic performance by the musicians. The atmosphere of a concert evening is always overwhelming!!!

The concert lasted for 2 hours with a short break in the middle. The most memorable aspect of the concert was the leading violin player who didn't play by the note but by heart. On the downside- many tourists attending the concert were disrespectful- talking or whispering loudly or couching or sleeping or filming the performance, even though it wasn't allowed. There were the ladies who tried to gain control over the disrupters, but it was tough. Another story was with the tickets- I bought them through Headout but received no tickets. I contacted the customer support who directed us to the ticket counter. Going to the ticket counter- they said to go 1h earlier to the concert hall to receive the tickets there. We asked about this at our hotel (which was near the concert hall) and they had no clue about this and wished us luck in case it turned out a scam. So better communication, where to get the tickets could be appreciated!!

Schönbrunn Palace, one of Vienna’s oldest Baroque landmarks, features 1,441 opulent rooms once home to the Habsburg emperors. With its grand halls, sprawling gardens, and historic Orangery, where Mozart once performed, the palace offers a stunning backdrop for classical concerts.
Vienna is renowned as the 'City of Music', celebrated for its profound contributions to classical music. Attending a concert here connects you with the legacies of Mozart, Beethoven, and other great composers, offering a genuine taste of the city’s rich musical heritage. Most of these concerts take place in historic venues, thereby inviting you to explore its iconic theaters and halls.
Vienna Classical concert tickets generally do not include a tour of the venue, as tickets are typically for the concert performance only. However, some historic venues, like the Schonbrunn Palace, offer separate guided tours after the performance, allowing you to explore the lounge and backstage areas. If you're interested, book the Schonbrunn Palace after-hours tour that combines the concert with a guided tour.
A majority of the Vienna Classical concerts are suitable for all ages, though it’s recommended to check specific concert descriptions. Some venues like the Schonbrunn Palace offer shorter concerts or early evening shows, perfect for families.
Most classical concerts last about 90 minutes to two hours, often with a short intermission. Be sure to check your ticket details as durations can vary.
While there is no strict dress code, we recommend you show up in smart casual or semi-formal attire to match the elegance of Vienna’s concert venues.
It is best to arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before the performance begins to allow sufficient time for ticket checks and seating. Popular venues like the Schonbrunn Palace, Kursalon, and Musikverein attract a large number of visitors. Arriving early also gives you the chance to soak in the stunning architecture and ambiance of these historic spaces before the concert begins.
Yes, a majority of the concert halls in Vienna provide wheelchair access and services for guests with disabilities. There are reserved spaces for visitors in wheelchairs and subtitled audios for people with hearing impairments. If you will need a wheelchair on the day of your visit, it’s a good idea to reach out to your concert venue a few days in advance to ensure availability.
