From the moment we walked in the door until we left we were amazed by the artwork on all floors and the Proust exhibition. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and lunch at the restaurant was also great so all in all we had a awesome visit. The layout of the galleries is brilliant, allows for a methodical perusal with no feelings of having missed out on something. Thanks for a memorable visit

The collection is awesome. The Proust exhibition was very good. but the audiostory with the Proust exhibition was not so interesting. Pleas pay attention to this. Let actors speak the texts and give more special information. Make people interested by the audiotext. Now it is too little and not so interesting

The exhibits in this museum are of the highest quality. I have been pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended for those who like the art of painting. A historical tour, with the best exponents. I would be happy to visit it again.

Getting in and having special access was fundamental to enjoying the tour and avoiding the long queues at the door. Avoiding the long queues was the highlight of choosing to buy the tickets through the APP, the ease of purchase, the quick turnaround and the communications too. Just one observation: the tour is long and it's practically impossible to do it all in one day. Another important point of this ticket is the possibility of visiting any day within a year and on any day of the week and at any time. However, this is good for those who can be in Madrid for more days and organize their schedule. That's fantastic!

Everything was wonderful. We were even treated to a military parade while waiting in line. Thank you for assisting us with rescheduling our ticket dare after a death in the family causing a change in our family plans. We are very grateful to the staff!

It was nice. Good route and nice audios while going around. The only thing I didn't like was that it is named "Hop on Hop off tour" but its a bus without stops, so especially with kids it would have been better to have that option of going down whenever you'd like.

ould have been a great tour but there were no stops - unfortunately also no real visible info prior bying the tickets. That's a huge dissatisfaction for some of the spots we would have liked to visit a bit longer and continue the tour later which was not possible - but the tickets were already bougt.

Plus points: - always good to have a general view of a city - the 2 routes - historical & modern - are interesting Minuses: - too bad there weren't any intermediate stops so you could get off/climb to visit the sights - not all audio outlets worked properly - staff a bit nitpicky: with QR-Code + validity date, excessive to ask for printed tickets again

The richness of the collections - the way the Reina Sofia tells some of the modern history of Spain through art, the construction of Guernica through Dora Mar's photographs, the outstanding and uncrowded Thyssen-Bornemisza

It was nice to be able to see Madrid above street level because then you really see how beautiful the buildings are. The tour itself was not very fascinating little was told about the history of the city or certain places, just which architect designed it. I would have liked to hear a little more.

We started at Tysenn. Everything went very smoothly, the accreditation and the entrance. Not so in the Pardo (the second visit) where there was the main queue and a second shorter queue (20' wait) to accredit the QR code. With the Reina Sofia we finally had a second shorter queue, but as there were less visitors there were a couple of minutes of waiting.

I bought the tickets thinking I'd be able to get on and off at the places I wanted (HOP ON/OFF), but all I got was misleading advertising. The place to catch the bus was also not the most central or suitable for those on foot. It was worth the driver giving me some tips on how to get around Madrid by bus for free.

Of course the art is what made it memorable. We were glad to be able to take a break in the cafe. The maps were confusing and we missed galleries we wanted to see. The restrooms were hard to find.

The activity itself is great. The problem is the lack of complete information about the service. IT'S NOT HOP ON HOP OFF. You can only get on and off the bus at a single stop.

The ride and the audio guide were very good. What was not good was that there was no indication at the time of booking that there are currently no more hop-on hop-off tours in Madrid, only panoramic tours without stops. It was therefore not possible to get on the bus near our hotel as we had intended, so we had to ask around and walk to the starting point at the Prado MUSEUM.

1) I was confused when I got to the venue as to why I didn't already have a ticket. At one of the venues, the ticket office person initially rejected it as a valid voucher. I had to explain to her that it was. 2) the tour groups at the Prado make the experience impossible to enjoy for independent travelers. You should try to reserve certain hours of the day when tour groups aren't allowed to operate. They monopolize all the masterpieces.

Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum highlights

19th & 20th century art

Art from the 19th and 20th centuries shows you the exciting changes in art style and subject matter during this period. Paintings by Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gogh are among the highlights. For example, Monet’s ‘Charing Cross Bridge’ shows his love for capturing light and atmosphere, while Van Gogh’s ‘Les Vessenots in Auvers’ displays his signature bold brushstrokes and bright colors.

Avant-Garde and modern art

The museum also has works from modern art movements. Pablo Picasso’s ‘Harlequin with a Mirror’ uses bold colors and geometric shapes to explore identity, while Wassily Kandinsky’s abstract ‘Picture with Three Spots’ plays with color and emotion. Salvador Dalí’s ‘Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee’ takes viewers into the world of dreams and Hopper’s ‘Hotel Room’ captures the quiet moments of modern life.

Medieval art

Step back in time to the Middle Ages! The museum features rare works from the medieval period. Highlights include ‘Christ and the Samaritan Woman’ by Duccio di Buoninsegna, which shows a biblical scene with gold accents, and ‘The Annunciation Diptych’ by Jan Van Eyck, a two-part painting of the angel Gabriel telling Mary she's going to have Jesus. It's painted in gray to look like stone.

Renaissance and Baroque art

The museum’s Renaissance and Baroque collection is full of masterpieces. Ghirlandaio’s ‘Portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni’ shows a noblewoman in amazing detail, a perfect example of Italian Renaissance art. Carpaccio’s ‘Young Knight in a Landscape’ is all about bravery, showing a knight in a beautiful outdoor setting.

A vast collection of works from a variety of eras and genres of art. Spent four hours and still could've spent another four. The cafe is in a nice setting but the food was not very good. Unfortunately we did not get to participate in the guided tour in English as we were directed to the timed Munter exhibit on accident and missed the tour. The museum concierge was very apologetic, accepting blame, and said she would have Headout give us a refund. However, we have yet to receive the refund - going on 4 days now.
