The Abby at Mont Saint Michel was beautiful! It was worth seeing, and buying our tickets was easy. There is a warning about fake tickets on the official site, so I was nervous about booking through this one, but everything was authentic and accepted. When it is not busy, you can also buy tickets right at the Abby.
Mont Saint Michele is even better in real life than in the pictures. It's a must-see! With the online ticket, you don't have to queue to visit the abbey.

With other channels I would have had to choose the time slot to visit, but instead with you when I showed up I went in and it was perfect this way, because we were able to arrange the day differently as we arrived earlier than planned.

The reservations were fast, no problems at the time of entry. I loved the experience, we had a great day and the abbey was spectacular.

This was a wonderful self-guided option. It gave me complete freedom to explore and enjoy the sights at my own pace. The offline map was a lifesaver.
Very straightforward ticket booking. Digital on the smartphone is really good. Mont Saint Michel is a great and impressive highlight.

Mont Saint Michel is lovely place. It is amazing.
I was amazed by the architecture. Every single stone tells a 1000-year-old story.

The architecture was awesome. How they were able to put so much is such a small place.
I was in the line when I ordered them. Quick, easy to do. I would use this service again.
Fast turnaround. Beauty of the place

Quick without wasting time, considering that some queuing is bound to happen given the turnout of people

Great, magnificent, exceptional

Location was great. However I do think you should give a 15 min window for arrival since the shuttle takes a bit of time and then walking to the entrance takes a while especially if a person csnnnot walk that fast.
A well thought out tour, which was a pleasure to explore the abbey without being surrounded by tourists. I can recommend a visit to anyone who is visiting the region

It wasn't as crowded as usual because the Pentecost festival had happened over the weekend, and we went the day after. However, I was shocked at the increase in price of the parking. Its now 19 euros instead of 12 for the day. I will have to be very selective who I take there in future.
Le Mont Saint-Michel is a very impressive abbay in all respects. The excellent service from headout deserves great praise. Thank you very much!

Ordering tickets worked really quickly. I was already standing in front of the entrance and was able to book an online ticket directly and start the tour immediately without having to wait. Mont Saint Michel is impressive and definitely worth a visit.

You have to see it, unfortunately thousands of others thought the same. Nevertheless, I'd love to go again, but please with fewer visitors. You think you have a thousand steps behind you now, that there are no more to come, but you're wrong, there are still some.

A superb Abbey, taking tickets in advance means you don't have to wait, a magnificent visit despite the crowds, the Abbey is so large that you don't have to jostle for space except perhaps for the toilets...

Unfortunately, we were ill on vacation, so you should know that we did not take part. So they couldn't judge how the experience was. Our phone call with the support on Tuesday morning was very nice, the negative email regarding at least a partial cancellation was very negative. best regards Michael Komenda

The guide was poor
The tour was well organized, with all the necessary explanations. The transfers were comfortable and in addition to Mont Saint-Michel being a wonderful place, I would like to praise the work of our guides, especially Said (sorry if that's not how you spell his name)! Thank you for all your help, professionalism and friendliness, you made the the experience even more special 👏🏼

Taxis
Once you arrive at the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel, the island itself is pedestrian-only and exploring involves walking
Bicycles are not allowed on Mont Saint-Michel itself or within the medieval village due to its pedestrian-only policy, narrow streets, and steep stairways. However, you can use your bicycle to access the island up to a certain point. Here's how:
Mont Saint-Michel attracts visitors between July and August, when all restaurants, shops, and attractions are open, offering the full experience. During the off-season, from November to March, the island feels more magical and serene without the bustle of tourists, especially at sunrise or sunset. Accommodation and tours are generally cheaper, and you may find discounts.
The temperatures are mild and pleasant from July through August, and there are longer daylight hours, which means more time to soak in the beautiful views. Between November and March, expect colder temperatures (5-10°C / 41-50°F), with possible rain and wind.
Some summer events and festivals, like local markets or historical reenactments, like Medeival Festivals, may be happening during July and August. The winter tides can still be dramatic, offering excellent photo opportunities with fewer people around.
Yes, it's worth it if you're short on time but want to see one of France's most iconic landmarks. However, keep in mind that it will be a long day, and you'll have limited time at the island itself.
On a day trip, you will have 3 to 4 hours to explore the island and the Abbey with a guide as well as enough time to shop, eat, and discover both the island and Abbey at leisure.
Mont Saint-Michel has plenty to offer – you could explore the small hidden alleys, walk along the ramparts, explore the lesser-known museums, grab some delicious cookies, or try the famous "La Mère Poulard" omelet.
Most tours depart early in the morning (around 7am-8am) from Paris to maximize time at Mont Saint-Michel.
Some tours are guided, but others offer free time to explore on your own. It depends on the tour type, so check the details when booking.
Yes, day tours to Mont Saint-Michel are available throughout the year. However, during the off-season (winter months), some tours may have reduced schedules.
Comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestone streets, a jacket for unpredictable weather, snacks (if not provided), and a camera to capture the views. Also, check the tide schedule to plan the best time to visit.
There are no strict restrictions, but keep in mind that Mont Saint-Michel involves steep, cobblestone streets and lots of stairs, so it's important to wear comfortable, sturdy shoes. Some parts of the island may be physically demanding.
