- Due to high demand for the Leaning Tower, your selected time slot may be unavailable. If so, you’ll be assigned a new slot within an hour of your original choice. Please note the time at the top of the tower is limited to 30 minutes.
- The selected date and time apply only to the Tower climb; other monuments can be visited on the same day or anytime within a year from that date.
- Cathedral access is free but requires a timed pass if visited on its own—this pass is automatically included with any Pisa Complex ticket, including Tower entry.
- The climb involves 273 steep steps with no elevators, so it is not accessible for wheelchair users and guests with cardiovascular issues.
- For safety reasons, children under 8 are not allowed to climb, and those aged 8-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Since the Cathedral is a place of worship, all guests must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees.
- Remember metal objects, bags, or containers are not allowed during the climb. You can store them in the free lockers provided to you at Piazza del Duomo.
- These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

Healdout allowed me to purchase the same day with a bit of a discount, let's just say that it's inconceivable that children pay the same price as adults..(abroad children don't pay to enter museums..)in Italy in addition to paying to see our beauties we still had to queue at the entrance and make do with the bags that couldn't get in...the monument is worth it but everything else is a bit of a disincentive

We had some trouble finding parking and navigating that so we were a few minutes late to the steps, and the gentleman let us right in at the front of the line, which was so nice! What a beautiful property, totally amazed at the Pisa tower and also the fallen angel statue.

When I checked the website, it mentioned that only children above the age of 8 can climb the tower. When buying the tickets via Headout, it stated that only 11-99 requires a ticket. My child is 9-year-old. Hence, I only bought two tickets, one for me and the other for my wife. I emailed the headout support team to confirm whether or not my child would need a ticket. I was informed that my child didn't need one. When I got there, it turned out that anyone climbing the tower will need a ticket if they are 8 and above.

We don't think it's OK if the ticket only allows a free visit to the toilet. After all, there is so much to see with the ticket that you can spend the whole day there. And I don't know anyone who only has to go to the toilet once a day. The friendliness of the staff is very poor.

Loved going up the leaning tower. Views were amazing. Museums were ok. Not really my thing but there were some interesting historical information. The main buildings I really wanted visit was the cathedral & Baptistery, but sadly they were not open to the public that day as there was a religious ceremony taking place. Shame as I had paid the full amount to visit all 6 buildings which is quite expensive to only be able to visit 4 of these.

It's an iconic trip but you need to leave bags in lockers away from the entrance to the tower. This wasn't clear so we wasted time taking bags to the lockets and had to requeue. The steps inside the tower are incredibly slippery. No handrails so I wouldn't recommend this trip if you have mobility issues

Our guide should be in Italian, it was the only one available when I booked. However, our guide also speeks English and this change that she did in the last minute was awesome (my husband and I we are Brazilian, we don't speek Italian but we speek English). It saved our tour. Our guide should be in Italian, it was the only one available when I booked. However, our guide also speeks English and this change that she did in the last minute was awesome (my husband and I we are Brazilian, we don't speek Italian but we speek English). It saved our tour. The explanation of the guide was excellent, my daughter learned many things, I could not do the tour because I had an accident in Rome and could not move, I understand that I could not support me, neither you nor in Italy, it seems that they are prepared to assist a person because they do not have services and being a Sunday and in high season because they were too busy but I was close and I could hear the explanations of the guide, I hope in the future to make the visit.

How much time does it really take to ascend?
While the experience is unique, it’s not physically overwhelming. Most visitors take 5 to 10 minutes to ascend the 273 narrow spiral steps, depending on fitness level and crowd flow. The descent is slightly faster, taking around 3 to 5 minutes.
However, your total visit time will be closer to 30–35 minutes, which includes:

Pisa Centrale: This is the main train station in Pisa, located approximately 1.9 km from the Leaning Tower. Walking from Pisa Centrale to the Tower takes about 22 minutes .
By bus
From Pisa Centrale, you can take the LAM “ROSSA” bus towards Park Pietrasantina and get off at the "Torre" stop. The bus ride takes about 9 minutes, followed by a short walk to the Tower.
By foot
Walking from Pisa Centrale to the Leaning Tower is a pleasant option, covering approximately 1.9 km and taking around 22 minutes.

Healdout allowed me to purchase the same day with a bit of a discount, let's just say that it's inconceivable that children pay the same price as adults..(abroad children don't pay to enter museums..)in Italy in addition to paying to see our beauties we still had to queue at the entrance and make do with the bags that couldn't get in...the monument is worth it but everything else is a bit of a disincentive
