The Cathedral iself is awesome, of course. That's why we are here. And in the event, the ticketing and entrance to it was just fine, as there was no queue to skip so 'skip-the-line' was unneceaasry'. Two hours later there was a HUGE queue, being carefully policed. See emails for my problem acessing tickets however. Your App is not easy and intuitive to use. The Audioguide was a complete washout, as it reqired a "Validation Code" to function and nowhere on the ticket nor your communications, app, or emails to me was there such a number. Obvious or not. Thus we had no other guidance during our visit than the heavily theological propaganda of the Catholic establishment.
The amount of oppulance is overwhelming. I visited 10 years age, and it is still staggering beyond my imagination. The architecture and craftsmanship today cannot compare to this (mathematical genius). Workers with minimal tools but devoted in great faith created one of the greatest cathedrals world over.
The guided tour was very entertaining, with well-packaged, to-the-point content. The guide was also very personable. Everything went smoothly, from the meeting point to the entrance and the ascent to La Giralda. An absolute recommendation!

The experience was unique and amazing! The cathedral is fascinating from the outside but moreso from the inside. Each chapel gives a mesmerising touch. The Giralda tour is a good physical exertion thereby not adequate for everyone but its worth the views
Guide was excellent. He knew his subject well and answered direct questions about Seville cathedral and the Giralda tower that he may not have been expected to know. Being able to skip the queues (and it was very busy leading up to Holy Week) was a real bonus. The cathedral and Giralda tower are well worth visiting and well worth paying for the speedy entrance and guide.
Although it has not been raining as much during our visit in 40 years, we have had a great experience visiting the Seville Cathedral & La Giralda. Although we experienced some technical difficulties the guide knew enough about the history to provide us with a great tour. Highly appreciated.
The tour was well prepared and the professional organization was very good. Comprehensive information and the ambience of the cathedral are simply fantastic.

I also liked the Giralda and the Alcazar, but I recommend the former only for people with healthy legs, because you can get up on a 35-turn ramp. True, there are little window boxes with seats for resting.

Wonderful place, I really didn't want to leave! The garden is just breathtaking. Get the ticket in advance! Beware, the ticket controllers are strict. My friend is a flight attendant and her flight was suddenly moved to an earlier one. She had a ticket to the Alcazar but of course would like to get in earlier so she wouldn't miss work. The security didn't let her in and there was no possibility to switch time slot or get your money back.
It's so beautiful! It's a must-see, along with the cathedral and Giralda tower. But the Alcazar gardens are a jewel! We recommend

Everything worked well and we got all the information we needed. It is an experience to visit the place. However, we had problems getting their audio guide to work.

Admission for four people worked without any problems for all three sights we had booked with the help of the clearly laid out app. Despite the high season, there were no waiting times, just a quick security check (backpacks checked) and then we were off. Seville is beautiful and offers an infinite number of magnificent sights for people interested in art history. The view from the Giralda over the sea of houses in Seville is fantastic.

Zero wait! Ticket in hand, 15 Min in advance and we went right in! Two wonderful, very different places that you absolutely must see!

We preferred the Alcazar! An afternoon of strolling, our eyes drawn everywhere by the castle's décor, and a long walk in the gardens.

Third time visiting and equally wonderful each time. Phone guide was really interesting and informative. Just wish there had been better labelling to help find each room/area. Would love to come back again .
We were fortunately just in time to book a combo ticket! It's actually better to do it before you travel! Very easy to book online and pay with your phone and then you get a QR code in your mail and with that you can go to the cathedral and the palace! Both very worthwhile!

Alcazar was very beautiful to look at. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the gardens due to the weather. You can move around freely and see everything at your leisure. In the low season, things are also more leisurely. It makes sense to buy tickets in advance. The Cathetral is definitely a must-see. The bell tower offers a fantastic view over Seville from the top. Simply fantastic.

Punctuality of appointments and pick-up! On the other hand, some rather cavalier schedule changes the day before could have caused us to cancel our visit by moving it from 1:00 pm to 11:00 am. All the more so as we learnt that the morning of the tour was partially booked. 11H00: Cathedral+Giralda and 15H00: The Alcazar.

The experience was ten, our guide, Guadalupe, was a great professional, explained very well, and in detail, the visit to the cathedral. Very nice and pleasant. We also did with her the guided visit to the Alcazar. We were delighted. A totally recommendable experience, essential in the visit to Seville. I would repeat, no doubt.

Beautiful experience that is worth the price of the ticket especially if done with a tour guide, I highly recommend the skip the line which we did and it allowed us to enter without waiting, there is a kiosk inside, a little expensive, but it is all part of a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

very good guides. BUT I was not informed that the tour was postponed by 2 hours. The subcontractor (concierge sthose) claims to have sent me an email. I received nothing, not even via the Head Out app. Maybe they sent via What's app. If that's the case, they should let us know because when you arrive from overseas, you don't necessarily have access to your cell phone number. In short, it was the guides who saved the day, because I was really frustrated at having to change my entire day's schedule without notice. I will not do business with headout again.

The tour by the guide was very good and detailed/informative. You could ask questions and got answers immediately. Well done. What was problematic - for us - was the general rush and the resulting chaos of voices. But that's just the way it is! All in all, it was very good.

La visite réalisée avec Ghislaine était très vivante, un lieux magnifique, Ghislaine a su nous donner le contenu historique et réaliste. Bien organisé, la visite aurait pu durée 1 heure de plus, c'était passionnant
Beautiful visit worth the price (comments, and beauty of the Alcazar, enhanced by the humor and knowledge of Francesco, our guide. A cathedral steeped in history, too much rococo for my taste... It's a pity he didn't give us the tickets to take advantage of other free tours including: colegial del salvator...

The guides are very friendly and make the visits very pleasant. The sites are extraordinary, of course, especially the real Alcazar. The only drawback is that the combo was done in 2 parts, at 11 a.m. then 2:45 p.m., and it's not presented that way.

First part in the cathedral had poor audio equipment , audio kept breaking up even within 10m of the speaker. Second part in Alcazar had much better and reliable audio equipment. Both presentors were good and informative. I do wish there would have been a few more short breaks as we had senior citizen with us and its hard to stay up 2.5hrs non-stop.
Well done to our guide for his passion for the city and his humorous comments. Well organized and on time.

The guide was very informative with history and culture. The Cathedral is outstanding in its vastness and elaborate decoration inside - complete wow factor. La Giralda intense with all the ramps and tourists, but great views. Would thoroughly recommend both.
The guided tour of around 1 1/2 hours in the heavily frequented cathedral included information that was told at lightning speed by the guide and he also paid too little attention to the fact that not all participants are equally good or fast on foot. We had some older people in our group. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Had the absolute best tour guide ever: Mercedes. She is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, & entertaining, not just extraordinarily beautiful! :)
The Cathedral is a unique monument and this was well explained to us by the passionate and knowledgeable guide. Thanks to this man, who speaks Italian very well, we learned not only the historical news but also the chronicles of the time relstive to Christopher Columbus. Interesting, beyond any doubt, I suggest without fear of contradiction. Thanks again to the guide

Our guide was enthusiastic, had loads of great knowledge and made the experience enjoyable with lots of side stories of both history and myth.
The guide was great. Very professional. She knew how to lead the group and her explanations were enjoyable and interesting. The visit was on schedule but was short. It is true that in the description the duration is advanced. I do not feel cheated but the cathedral of Seville gives for at least half an hour more. The impression is that there are many things left unfinished.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. It was hard to find him in the very crowded square. We almost missed the tour!
The tour was pleasant, a little difficult to remember everything, but the guide answered visitors' questions with ease. The most impressive part of the tour was the lovely view of the Giralda from the orange tree courtyard. Sublime.

Best for: Visitors who want fast access to La Giralda and Seville Cathedral without waiting in long lines.
These tickets allow you to bypass queues and head straight inside Seville Cathedral before making your way up La Giralda, the city’s iconic bell tower. Originally built as a minaret during the Almohad dynasty, La Giralda now stands as a blend of Moorish and Gothic architecture, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of Seville from 104 meters high.
Insider tip: Look for the Giralda weathervane at the top—the tower’s name comes from this rotating bronze sculpture.
Pick:
Best for: History lovers who want an expert-led tour of La Giralda and Seville Cathedral.
For those who enjoy detailed historical context, a guided tour is the best way to explore La Giralda. Learn how this 12th-century minaret was transformed into a Christian bell tower and how its unique design reflects Seville’s cultural evolution. With skip-the-line access, you’ll get straight into the Cathedral before climbing the tower for a panoramic view of Seville’s rooftops, courtyards, and historic streets.
Insider tip: Instead of stairs, La Giralda has ramps—designed so that horses could carry the muezzin to the top when it was a minaret. The climb is easier than a staircase but still requires stamina.
Pick:
The Seville Cathedral Tower was one of the minarets of the Almohad Mosque and was built somewhere between 1184 and 1198. The tower’s design was inspired by the minaret of Koutoubia which is probably the most significant mosques in Morocco today. While the tower is a fine example of Arab architecture, it has served as an inspiration for many iconic buildings in and around Seville including the the Alcázar and the Torre del Oro.
Built more than 800 years ago, the Seville Cathedral Tower is also considered the oldest building in Seville. There was a great sense of urgency to build a great mosque when Seville was declared the capital during the Almohad rule between 1121 and 1169. The Seville Cathedral was originally the great mosque of Seville and the tower was one of its minarets - a testament to the city’s intertwined history.
The minaret became a bell tower when King Ferdinand captured Seville in 1248 and converted the great mosque into the magnificent cathedral we see today.
History of Seville CathedralThere have been significant additions to the original tower since it was built in the 12th century. While the tower’s structure was initially built in Arab or the typical Islamic style, the architecture changed gradually once the Arabs left Seville. The Seville Cathedral Tower which we see today is a confluence of Moorish and Renaissance architecture.
The intricate geometry combined with bricks and stones showcases the tower’s Islamic heritage and architectural style. Legend has it that there was a copper sphere on top of the minaret which disappeared after an earthquake in 1365. Many elements from the Arab era were replaced with Christian symbols including the holy cross in the 14th century. The Seville Cathedral Tower which we see today was designed by Hernán Ruiz, a Spanish Renaissance architect.
What's inside Seville CathedralYes, guided tours are available and often include access to Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar. These tours provide historical context and detailed insights into the architecture and significance of these landmarks.
Skip-the-line tickets are available and highly recommended, especially during peak tourist seasons, to expedite entry and maximize your visiting time.
The Seville Cathedral Tower was originally a minaret of the great Almohan mosque. It became a bell tower when the mosque was converted to a cathedral after Seville was captured by the Christians.
The ascent consists of 35 gently sloping ramps, originally designed to accommodate horseback riders. Most visitors reach the top in about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on their pace.
Restroom facilities are available within Seville Cathedral, which houses La Giralda. Additional amenities such as a gift shop and information center are also present.
Large bags and luggage are not permitted inside the cathedral. It's recommended to make prior arrangements for storage, as on-site facilities may not be available.
