It was a very informative and interesting excursion. Boarding was quick and smooth. It was nice to see all these wonderful, impressive buildings from a different angle, namely from the water. The tour took us past the Grand Palace, Louvre, Notre Dame and .... The hour flew by. We are glad for the experience.

The fast track tickets were wonderful to have! The Orsay was so very crowded that without them we would have been in line for hours. We chose not to use the audio guide we purchased. Again crowd size limited our ability to stop, look and listen. In the future I will book sooner and get a tour guide. Thanks to head out- the only one to get us last minute tickets into the Orsay !

We did a self-guided tour through the museum and spent several hours enjoying the art and stopping for a nice meal in the Orsay. Day was just delightful because of environment (the former train station alone is worth seeing), exhibits and manner of display.

there was no fast track so i was charged extra for somthing that didnt excist and had to wait with everyone else... however these where the only tickets i could get for the morning so i paid more for the chance to actually get in at that time when tickets where sold out so it is what it is but i wouldnt advertise these as fast track and charge more for that benifit as you join the same que as normal ticket holders.

Admission went perfectly. Ticket for 12:30 - inside the Louvre at 12:32. Whether this was due to the head out - I don't know - I think we would have got in with any other ticket. We had already joined the queue at 11:30 and were therefore right at the front of the line. TIP: Be there 1 hour in advance - then you'll be inside quickly at the specified time - the stewards will make sure of that outside. AND: You first have to show and scan your ticket when you are inside and want to go to one of the halls - not at the entrance, where only the bags are checked (scanner like at the airport) and not down in the hall under the pyramid roof. The better entrance is at the pyramid - not at the Caroussell - it's full everywhere - but it's much better at the pyramid ... Getting out of the Louve is more difficult than getting in - we got lost several times despite flyers and signs - finally found the Caroussell exit where there is a shopping mile. As the mall is already full anyway and then the long queues to get into the Louvre - unbelievable and bad. Outside at the pyramid it is very well organized. But you need at least 3 hours to see a small part of it. It's best to go in twice on different days to see everything. Everyone just wants to see the Mona Lisa anyway - further through the Egyptian finds, total emptiness ...

Built in 1852 by Napoleon III to shelter the orange trees from the Tuileries Garden, the building took on a new life after World War I. In 1921, the building was handed over to the Under-Secretariat of State for Fine Arts to create a space for living artists to display their works. In 1922, Monet donated his Water Lilies, which continues to be one of the most priceless works of art housed here. Die Tickets für das Musée de l'Orangerie und Musée d'Orsay waren sofort verfügbar. Da es eine separate Warteschlange für Besucher ohne Tickets gab, entstanden für uns keine Wartezeiten. Der Besuch des Museum l'Orangerie ist auf eine halbe Stunde begrenzt, was viel zu kurz ist. Von einem 30 Minütigen Besuch der Orangerie ist auf jeden Fall abzuraten, das ist nur Abzocke. Allerdings wurden wir beim rausgehen nicht kontrolliert. Das Musse d'Orsay schliesst offiziell um 18:00, un 17:45 waren schon einige Räume geschlossen, daher dieses Museum früher einplanen, es gibt kein Zeitlimit ausser den Öffnungszeiten.
