Carol, our guide, was very engaging and was able to field questions from the group. Just a lovely day to spend time with some of the French immortals who shaped so much of the music, Art, and literature. We were able to spend time with Carol after the formal tour, and she was able to shed some additional highlights and answered more of my questions. Would recommend this tour highly if you seek information about the past history of France.

Headout was a great experience...buying the tickets and having access to an audio map and instruction were easy to obtain and were spot-on. When we were there the cemetary was enormous and we needed the audio to guide us around. It was clear and precise and we were able to take it all in. The weather was very warm, but we had plenty of shade as it was not just graves and tombs...the natural surroundings were great too

The instructions where to get the audio guide were not at all clear . We didn't know that we had to scan a code situated on a panel that was situated next to a grave that was so hard to find . We ask the guardian at the entrance where it could be and he had no idea . Come to find out that it was right in front of his box. We lost almost one hour for that then the audio was hard to understand . Other people had the same terrible experience !

We never had access to this service during our visit on Sunday May 18, 2025. No map was available to help us find our way around the cemetery, so we didn't take full advantage of the place.
