There was a delay of .5hours with our guide. Guide was excellent but they should carry flags. Many times we could hear his voice but had no idea where he was located, sometimes in another room! Visitors should be aware that you must know what guide service Headout utilizes.. My ticket and payment was not enough for sign in. Our guide service was Visit Paris. This was very confusing and we felt that we may not be able to do the tour.
I traveled solo to Versailles only to find the parlance was sold out. I did a google search & found HeadOut. I was able to purchase a ticket for later in the afternoon. It worked out perfectly! I was able to tour the gardens, explore the quaint city & have a late lunch before meeting Abed at the stature of Louis XIV at the specified time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable & provided a wonderful snapshot of life in the palace-highly recommend!
Very well organized, clearly presented, very professional. Bio, our guide was nice and told the story very well. No queuing and jostling. Can recommend a guide tour to anyone

Our tour guide Bo was great! Gave us a full history with great insight and was a wonderful tour, one which I don't think that we could have done by ourselves. Absolutely loved it!
Our guide, Sergio, was extraordinary, patient and very detailed in his explanations. He made the whole experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend him, without hesitation, for a successful visit!

Steph was amazing. Not just knowledgeable, but really brought to life the Kings and Queen of France. She had an unique way of making the tour really enjoyable. The Palace, itself, is extremely impressive.
Caroline the guide was excellent! Not only explaining the experience, but also guiding the whole group, which is not easy! Particularly she helped me to leave in security a gift that I had been given, a bottle of cognac that I could not enter. She was a total sweetheart and so much wisdom! I am looking forward to coming back! I will do it and I will recommend you to all my friends.

It was a lovely building that we wanted to see. Our guide Bo was very good and was able to bring us to semi quiet places to view the rooms. It is extremely crowded in the palace. I really enjoyed the history as I wasn't very familiar with it.
Very interesting the guide's expertise and ability to make the modus vivendi understood and not just an aseptic explanation.

The information given was very interesting and easy to understand. An excellent tour and right length of time inside the palace. So much history to hear and see. Well worth the visit.
Loved our guide Not sure about Headout : would like to find an agency that provides a reminder. We booked so far in advance. Not their fault but we missed our Notre Dame/Citi/seine tour and Orsay tour because we were only slightly late not through our fault and they would not consider a refund or voucher for future tour.
The information and kindness of the guide Easy to arrange A very interesting guided tour

Your team organized the group's welcome and access to the Château very well. Friendly guide who listened to everyone's questions. However, it was difficult to move around in some rooms because of the large number of visitors, which might need to be regulated by the estate's management.

The meeting spot was very easy to find and the guide was very attentive. I've heard that there is a lot of tourist exhaustion from the local workers because the crowds are massive, which was the case today as well. So, moving through the chateau it was very crowded and there at times were shouting from the chateau staff at our guide to continue moving. The guide was very nice but she at times seemed to be somewhat tourist fatigued as well. The gardens were the impressive part because it never seemed over crowded because it was easy to fit a zillion tourists on the 2000 acre property. If only the Louvre were 2000 acres:).
The team were well organised. An initial point of contact before being split to our respective guide. We were allocated Bo, who was absolutely brilliant. She talked us through the whole entry process ahead of the actual tour. Once inside, she gave an informative and well delivered monologue - whilst guiding us to quieter spots in rooms and finding areas where it was a little cooler (majorly hot day). At the end of the she took time to answer questions and verify the information about access to the gardens and grounds. Thank you Bo...we wish that we could have had your knowledge, expertise and company as we visisted the other areas of the Chateau

Everything went really well with the tickets from Headout. We had booked the transfer from Paris to our destination as well as entry to Versailles Palace and the gardens. We were greeted and briefed in a friendly manner at the meeting point. A bus took us to the Palace of Versailles on time. From then on, we were able to explore the palace and gardens on our own. It was possible to take a transfer back to Paris, but we didn't use it as we stayed there for a long time. A wonderful day.

It is beautiful palace and amazing garden. I highly recommend to buy a ticket for little train which goes throw the garden, and there are a four stations. We took a boat and sailled throw the Grand Canale, visited Trianion and stayed all day in Versallis garden.
The experience was wonderful, the time entry went perfectly, me and my wife enjoyed the Versailles interior and the gardens are awesome.
Reliving the moments of history. I did not like the lack of information. Going in at 3:30 pm they could have communicated that the trianon closed at 6:45 pm at least we would have gone to the trianon first and then to the gardens.

If you like history, then it's definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed the whole experience from the gardens to the Palace itself. Would definitely recommend.
It was an amazing adventure. Versailles is magnificent and a true testament to man's need to spend as much as they can to be remembered.
Easy and intuitive ticket purchase. I was impressed by the majesty of the complex. Beautiful palace, but personally the Trianon is fantastic.

I treid to understand, how the earlier generations of humans were able to create such splended beauty - and at present we are satisfied with so little! What is meant by optional access to the gardens- a new ticit ? Could not go....
Probably the most spectacular building of all time. Just pure over the top opulence. Absolutely outstanding. 10/10 An absolute must place to see. Lovely walk to and from the train station 🚆 Lots of food options / coffee ☕️ etc
It was my 2nd visit of Versailles. Entrance was really well organized, even there were so many people ( Easter weekend ) , we came into the palace earlier our time. You can take audioguide , 5€. We spent around 3 hours inside and then walked in the garden . If it would be no rain I guess could walk some hours or take golfcar (40€/h) .
Very beautiful garden with many beautiful fountains. The chambers of the kings and queens are very impressive. A must-see.

Everything was fine with the ticket and the service, they even called to make sure I didn't have any questions. I received the ticket again via WhatsApp the day before, so everything was really on the safe side. The castle itself is overrated for me, there are more beautiful places in Paris and the surrounding area. The garden is beautiful and really worth seeing and lovingly designed.

The tour was enjoyable, knowledgeable!
A great experience! The time is too short but overall everything was wonderful.
Everything was very good, staff, transportation, service in general met my expectation !!!!
It is a great place to visit, it woulb be great if we could spend 1 more hour at the palace and the gardens. The palace ita very crowded and then you just get a little time for the gardens. But overall, it was very good.
The instructions for were to go for ticket/ transport were incorrect and we had to take yet another second uber to try and make the reservation. The travel company did hold the van until we got there which we ended up being late. Please review and update your instructions for this event.
The schedule was well organized, but the tour of the castle itself was very stressful and, in our opinion, too short.

We were scheduled to leave Paris at 1100. We were about 15 minutes late in departing the meeting point. Our tickets were for 1130. We didn't get into line until 1200. It took an additional 30 minutes to get inside. That gave us less than 2 hours to tour the building and grounds. I would take the metro next time.
Beautiful experience, museum too crowded and thus experience somewhat penalized. Nothing to say about facility and reception

There was no tour guide, nobody gave us any information. We were just taken there and we were given a sticker telling us when our bus was going back. That was all. We got the audio guide ourselves

It was great that we had a guide and transport included. However, the time was not well organised and we had less than an hour for the gardens. It was not enough!
The guide Elizabeth was very good and the group was organized perfectly. Crowds cannot be controlled (too many people) but the rest was splendid.
The transportation was good. You don't have enough time on site to see everything. Unfortunately, 2 1/2 hours is not enough for the castle and gardens.

Very well organised. Alexandra was very good and good knowledge of history and place. She explained everything very well .
Amazing I should have booked the longer one, had 1 hour to go around the garden and it was very short but my mistake, book the long one it's really worth it if you like to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens, Will go back with this company for sure
It would have been nice to receive more information about the whole process. There was no information that we could have had an audio guide, and certainly not in German Nobody actually knew where to stand on the return journey. Some passengers asked us if we knew where the bus was picking us up. Just getting a sticker for the return journey without any real information....Very unfortunate. I would not book through Headout again.

As countrymen of Louis XV's wife, we are very pleased with this opportunity to see Versailles. An exceptionally interesting trip, the opportunity to meet French kings privately is a rare privilege, and the guide spoke interestingly, with a sense of humor and knowledge. We would gladly repeat this with another part of Versailles on another occasion. Thank you. Zuzanna and Waldemar de Pologne... :-)

I didn't like: It was indicated that access to the garden was included in the tickets, but this is not the case in high season (May to October), your information should be revised. Serious and well-organized welcome

I loved everything: the organisation of the tour, the "story" of the tour, the level of knowledge and the way the history of the place was presented to us by the guide.
Excellent guided tour; the guide was very good and the route very pleasant. The self-guided tour of the château was much less enjoyable: the site is magnificent, but there are far too many people to enjoy it in peace.

The highlight of my visit was the grandeur of the premises, the richness and beauty of the historic building, and the impressive objects and works of art. Magnificent!

Just overcrowded , plus prices of souvenirs are too expensive. I felt I should have paid 50 euros or so but why do I got a 75 euro bill , not sure what happen at the cash register
The tour guide was great and I really enjoyed the experience of seeing the extra rooms, especially the chapel & explanations of their uses. I've always been hesitant to do these larger group tours, but actually really enjoyed it.
The tour itself was fine. However, the google maps reference in the emali took us to the wrong location on the other side of the building. Once we saw the image for the meeting point in the email and relocated, there was no reference to the fact that we could meet inside the building. Eight of the visitors were waiting outside and then were quite abruptly dealt with when one of us went inside and relised the error.
Our guide was super interesting and pleasant. A real historian. Pleasant, approachable person. However, please understand that if you take a ticket at 1:30 pm, you can't go back before that time to visit the gardens or anything else... Our only downside was that we couldn't visit the opera house because of a concert scheduled for the evening. In short, the information was of a high quality, with the minor disappointment that the tour was not complete. If you don't have a full day at Versailles, take a guided tour to avoid the crowds.

The guided tour of the private apartments was very good and our guide, Tatiana, very interesting and experienced. Then, the experience was less satisfying; far too many people in the ceremonial rooms. We passed through without really seeing the rooms, following the tide of people. Then we were refused access to the Gardens, on the pretext that our ticket didn't include it. visit. However, in the title of the reservation, and the price paid, it was clearly written: with full access to the Palais and the Gardens. Disappointment, incomprehension and injustice, since that's what we had booked...

Our guide put her heart and soul into the tour. She used the 90 minutes as effectively as possible to show our group as much as possible. I particularly liked the fact that the children who were there were motivated to follow the tour with interest by asking lots of questions! Thank you very much for this wonderful and interesting time!

The tour we booked was great. A competent tour with a very nice guide. We were glad to have been part of a small group and to have had time to enjoy ourselves away from the general hustle and bustle. After the tour was over, we were able to explore the rest on our own. We were pushed through the rest of the rooms like cattle. That was not nice. But that's not the guide's fault. There are just too many inconsiderate visitors.

Admission went perfectly. Ticket for 12:30 - inside the Louvre at 12:32. Whether this was due to the head out - I don't know - I think we would have got in with any other ticket. We had already joined the queue at 11:30 and were therefore right at the front of the line. TIP: Be there 1 hour in advance - then you'll be inside quickly at the specified time - the stewards will make sure of that outside. AND: You first have to show and scan your ticket when you are inside and want to go to one of the halls - not at the entrance, where only the bags are checked (scanner like at the airport) and not down in the hall under the pyramid roof. The better entrance is at the pyramid - not at the Caroussell - it's full everywhere - but it's much better at the pyramid ... Getting out of the Louve is more difficult than getting in - we got lost several times despite flyers and signs - finally found the Caroussell exit where there is a shopping mile. As the mall is already full anyway and then the long queues to get into the Louvre - unbelievable and bad. Outside at the pyramid it is very well organized. But you need at least 3 hours to see a small part of it. It's best to go in twice on different days to see everything. Everyone just wants to see the Mona Lisa anyway - further through the Egyptian finds, total emptiness ...

It is the most interesting museum, and with the audio guide you are immersed in the history of the paintings, it would just need to be better organized for the viewing of the Mona Lisa, to give everyone a way to be able to see it from the front... All in all, a very good experience.

The stuff was Super 🤩 The way all the thing smell old was so cute. I didn't like one thing, exit from the gardens of trianon is so confusing, need to walk too much, need to make it simplier, bcs tourists need full energy to explore whole Versailles.
The Trianon and the gardens were truly beautiful. We paid extra for audioguides as we had not downloaded the app. We did have to pay for the main Versailles gardens to access and walk through from the main entrance, however it would have been easier to walk around the estate and see a little more of the 'town' area of Versailles, which we did on our way back.

The palace was great. Would have liked more time inside. The gardens were beautiful but nothing in bloom and chilly day, so just sat around till time to leave after a little walk. No commentary on or back from palace. Headphone interference constantly. Wouldn't recommend this one tour but be sure to go.
Hello the experience itself was good but the return to Paris was a bit mess There were absolutely no people managing buses, no crew on the parking (5:50 pm ) and we had to check every bus ourselves asking drivers to figure out which one can take us back.
I ended up having to buy train ride tickets after the guide did not provide and the help desk girl could not resolve after an hour of waiting. Now I'm stuck trying to get a refund. Robert Greaney. Firsttee@prodigy.net
Versailles is a lovely place, but we didn't skip the lines, our "guide" took us quickly through the chateau but then discarded us to find our way to the hameau de la reine and the petit trianon which we NEVER found! Very disappointing trip.
I did not have an experience at all! I apparently went to the wrong meeting place and missed the bus!!! I found 3 potential meeting places on my ticket info. I tried to call but number was busy. Tried to send a message but would not accept. So I had to book with another company the next day. I will not recommend Headout but will tell people to book directly with the provider, NOT a broker! Do you book with 3 providers thus 3 different meeting places??? Just out the money. Excellent experience with Paris City Vision who book and provide the tour with 1 meeting place.
the ticket was somehow on the wrong date. i wasnt in paris until 3 weeks later. they werent able to change the tickets.

Clair was wonderfully enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable about Giverny, Monet, Versailles, and French history/culture. Lunch was very tasty, comfortable, and relaxing. Bus ride was also comfortable and smooth.
I loved the sights and interesting information our guides provided. I also appreciated being transported to and from our destinations in a comfortable bus.
This was the most amazing tour and I'm only bummed that it couldn't be longer. The weather was on our side and it didn't rain except during points when we were on the bus or inside. And our tour guide Alex was the best! She knew everything about Monet and the Palace and brought us to the best lunch. Of course the highlights were the sights of Giverny and Monet's gardens, though there weren't any water lilies unfortunately. And the Palace was exquisite, though crowded. Completely worth every penny!
I thought the guide was too America centric and talked a lot about nothing. Was generally annoying. Sadly the venues are suffering from over tourism. I wanted to hear what the events had an affect on France. Not America.
There was no one at the meeting point. Half an hour waiting and the bus or someone from the company did not show up. We asked at the Hyatt and neighbors and they told us it was not there. In short, the service was not provided and it seems that it was a ghost agency because no one knew how to explain it to us. We lost the opportunity to visit Versailles because we relied on the reservation that could never be used and there were no more tickets available at the palace itself. It was a pity to buy on the web.

Comfortable coach, well organised tour with clear instructions from Headout. Particularly LOVED our guide Severine at the Palace of Versailles. Swooned when I walked through MONET'S garden and house. Giverney is a gorgeous village.
The tour itself and our guide were great. Good to have an option to visit as many places as possible if you're traveling for a short period of time. I would like to stay longer in Versailles though. Thecritical thing about the tour is that I had confusing information about 2 mewting points in my ticket. 2 agents from Headout confirmed the one that apparently was weong. Due to the Olympics, it was changed. But I connected with ith the tour organizers and ended up to the right direction. Otherwise I could miss the experience. It would be frustrating.

The Versailles Gardens were created out of the marshes that covered the hunting grounds of Versailles. André Le Nôtre, a famous French gardener, designed and conceived a series of gardens, groves, and parks for the palace by taming and leveling the surrounding woods. A testimony of French design and detailing, the gardens are marked by ornate fountains, exquisite sculptures, parterres and groves with a canal in the forefront, offering a spectacular sight. All these elements of these incredible gardens come alive during the musical shows, to the rhythm of French Baroque music and dramatic lighting effects.
