The experience was very good as far as the purchase of the tickets and audio went. The Colosseum is definitely worth a visit, but the huge crowds made the viewing experience very slow and at times unpleasant. The lines for the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill were so long that we decided to not complete the tour.

The highlight of my visit was the Colosseum. Nice experience in a historical place that is starting to be restructured to become a full coliseum. The worst thing was the contact with the person who was going to give us the entrance tickets. I had to call her by phone to get her to attend to me. We lost more than 30 minutes due to this fact.

This area of Rome is one of my favorites. The last time we were here it didn't require tickets. I was disheartened as the lines were long and the tickets they were selling included the Colosseum which we had already toured. I jumped online and had these tickets on my phone in 5 minutes. I would definitely say this is one of the the must-sees in Rome!

The experience was awful. I was denied entry because the ticket you sent me had expired. I wrote to and called customer service many times. They were slow and ultimately unable to provide a solution. After waiting for hours, I requested a cancellation and am still waiting for a refund. Very poor service.

You cannot go to Rome and ignore the Colosseum. It stands big and proud and the history in there just demands to be explored. Yes it can be very busy but there's no pressure to rush round it and there are helpful lifts for people who need assistance.

I was struck by Prof Carmelo Vinciguerra's outstanding preparation as an expert in archaeology and a lover of art and his work so fascinating . Accurate and comprehensive descriptions with continuous insights . He also included for us a visit to the Church of Vismo and Damiani , vetsmente splendid, which was not included. Tour was originally booked with head out, unfortunately the guide was unable to work so they transferred us to Crown Tour's. They were very professional in their correspondence and provided multiple options including change of date or transfer to another operator. They provided clear instructions via email including new meeting point. On arrival the staff from Crown tours were friendly and professional. Our guide, Damiano was great, very knowledgeable, understanding of the groups needs and fun. The Colosseum was absolutely magnificent.

Closseum was impressive, and the Vatican guided tour guide very knowledgeable. Because the guided tour of Colosseum was cancelled the day before, the audio guided substitute did not include skip-the-line for the other two venues included. So we decided to give the other two a miss because of massive queues. Also, we have not received a part refund. The tour of the Vatican state + St Peters was fine, but the tour startet 30 minutes too late (1130 instead of 1100).

Our guide, Diego, was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent, funny and loves telling the history of his birthplace. This tour has a lot to cover in 3 hours so if you're not a fast walker/stair climber there might be better choices for you. The only downside was that we got instructions to meet in 1 location only to get there on time and be told we needed to go to a different address- for folks without internet this could be difficult. It wasn't far but was across streets, through construction, and down an alley- could have told us to meet there from the beginning.

I went on a very cozy, private tour with Marle Robinson, with three other tourists. Marle was amazingly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories from history throughout the experience. She's very sharp and witty, with a lot of funny jokes to keep us engaged. At the same time, she was very attentive to our needs, making sure we remained hydrated, never strayed too far from each other and had ample time to snap a couple of photos. The tour gave us fast track entry to the venues and we were able to coast through the sites swiftly due to the sheer size of the company. I was struck by Prof Carmelo Vinciguerra's outstanding preparation as an expert in archaeology and a lover of art and his work so fascinating . Accurate and comprehensive descriptions with continuous insights . He also included for us a visit to the Church of Vismo and Damiani , vetsmente splendid, which was not included. The Colosseum was very exhaustive to us in its use, construction and fall into ruin, between earthquakes and looting. A beautiful expetience! I recommend this guide to everyone. Tour was originally booked with head out, unfortunately the guide was unable to work so they transferred us to Crown Tour's. They were very professional in their correspondence and provided multiple options including change of date or transfer to another operator. They provided clear instructions via email including new meeting point. On arrival the staff from Crown tours were friendly and professional. Our guide, Damiano was great, very knowledgeable, understanding of the groups needs and fun. The Colosseum was absolutely magnificent.

The highlight of our visit to th Vatican was going through the holy door, the crowd was not as bad as I thought they would be. Our host was great she took her time explaining and giving us the history behind the painting/structures/rooms. We spent most of our time in St. Peter basilica, we where able to go underground to see the tomb of the pope's. The we did some shopping in the Vatican store, it was a great experience.

Our Guide was knowledgeable about Colosseum. She made it fun. Because of her, we got hassle free entry to all the sites and location, we skipped all lines and were the first one to enter into the Colosseum. I would recommend tourists to book all 3 site tours individually because the guide doesn't show you everything in Romun Forum in a combined tour. Do this tour if you don't have enough time or if you are with family/kids.

I really liked being told about the history of the Coliseum from Emperor Nero to how it stands today. The skip the line part was also convenient given the line outside. Our guide was pretty cool and the tidbits that he told throughout helped to connect with the place. Access to Palatine hill which was granted by the ticket was one of my favorite places. Personally I wish the guide had shown some more enthusiasm and amidst all the noise, his speech felt a little too fast at times to understand everything.

I was under the impression that we would be walked over to the line but we rcvd extremely clear instructions and turned out to be around the block to get in. The idea of 3 days access to (among other things) museums and transportation is very good. But having to reserve a place to visit the Colosseum, still having to physically pick up your roma pass before that was not easy, took time, and paying with the Roma pass in public transport did not work either. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about both the history of all sites but also about how to effectively navigate the journey through the spaces during such an extremely crowded time. Due to the jubilee crowds we had some delays, and our tour ran long. She did not rush through the museums, nd gave us the complete tour anyway. Seeing that some on the group were getting tired, she sought out places to sit and rest, and was more concerned with everyone's health and happiness than ending on time. A native Roman, the depth of her knowledge, her personal perspectives, and her passion were amazing! Since the sistene chapel was closed, she spent 20 minutes using picture handouts to talk through the meaning of the art inside. The climb to the dome was my favorite part - to be inside seeing the mosaics and the perspective of such a grand church from above were incredible!

What an amazing tour. Natalia our guide was so well spoken and had such a vast knowledge of so much of the roman history, art ,culture and religion. The highlight of our visit to th Vatican was going through the holy door, the crowd was not as bad as I thought they would be. Our host was great she took her time explaining and giving us the history behind the painting/structures/rooms. We spent most of our time in St. Peter basilica, we where able to go underground to see the tomb of the pope's. The we did some shopping in the Vatican store, it was a great experience.

Christian may be the best bus driver in the world! My guy has got skills, not only did he get us there and back I was so impressed I just had to tip him 20 Euro for a safe travel day! Mara was incredible, friendly and outgoing, she was extremely knowledgeable not only about destinations but sites along the way. We choose the tour solely because it stated 3 hours in Pompeii. In total the stop was 2 hours and 15 min was gone because the guide had to collect the tickets so we ran around in 1.45 min trying to see some highlights my husband had wanted to see for over 40 years so quite a disappointment.

And tour operated waited 45 mins for late people in Sorrento before leaving w/o them. Your operator took half hour more with his tour and with all the lateness we ended up not doing the tasting. Very disappointed after doing so much homework for tour.

Highly recommend this tour! The bus ride to and from was smooth and the staff are very kind. Samuel was the leader for my bus/tour and he was amazing. Stopped at a giftshop/cafe when we left Rome and on or way back. Very friendly and helpful. I got stuck in the store in Pompeii when we were supposed to leave and he went back to the site just to get me so I could find the bus and not be left! We had about four hours of time to walk around (I did not do a tour guide, I walked around freely) and I didn't see everything but it is a huge city so it's not a big deal. Very good experience and zero complaints!

The compositional scheme and arrangement of the art treasures that make up the museum's holdings are optimal. The museum's exhibition holdings are marvelous for their contents of extraordinary historical-artistic-cultural value, which I did not expect...The venues are well cared for, protected and not crowded (during my experience of visiting on peak tourist days in Rome). I used an audio guide whose texts in Italian are clear and comprehensive and not at all boring. Only a few custodians were unjustifiably abrupt and rude.

We arrived a bit earlier at the Colloseum and there was no big queue at the entrance. We needed to wait for 5 more minutes and we then went in straightaway. No hassle, the security was fast and we could enjoy the arena and other levels of the Colloseum. It was amazing and we could take our time to take many pictures. Then We went over to the Palatine Hill and Forum Romanum, There was no one there and we headed straight in. All the tickets we purchase were perfect on the phone and we had no problems going in. The whole area is amazing and being where thousands of years Romans roamed we could walk in their footsteps. We loved the whole day !

There are three main entrances to the Colosseum:
- Sperone Valadier Entrance: Located facing the forums, this entrance (also known as the main entrance) is for individual guests with time-scheduled tickets, guided tour tickets, or audio and visual guides tickets. The average wait time is about 45 minutes.
- Group Gate: Found on the North side of the arena, this entrance is reserved for groups of 14 to 50 members with a professional tour guide. The average wait time is around 15 to 20 minutes.
- Stern Gate: Located opposite the main entrance, this gate is for groups, schools, or visitors with an accredited guide whose tickets include access to the Underground Colosseum, Colosseum Arena, and the Belvedere. However, this entrance is currently not in use and can be accessed from within the Colosseum.
- There are 3 wheelchairs in the first tier of the Colosseum at the reception and security office.
- All entrances are wheelchair accessible.
- There is an elevator specifically or visitors with mobility issues connecting the first and second floors; and a freight elevator to reach the underground.

The experience was very good as far as the purchase of the tickets and audio went.
The Colosseum is definitely worth a visit, but the huge crowds made the viewing experience very slow and at times unpleasant.
The lines for the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill were so long that we decided to not complete the tour.

I was struck by Prof Carmelo Vinciguerra's outstanding preparation as an expert in archaeology and a lover of art and his work so fascinating . Accurate and comprehensive descriptions with continuous insights . He also included for us a visit to the Church of Vismo and Damiani , vetsmente splendid, which was not included. The Colosseum was very exhaustive to us in its use, construction and fall into ruin, between earthquakes and looting. A beautiful expetience! I recommend this guide to everyone. Honestly, bypassing the chaos. We saved so much time and our tour guide was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Bonus: The tickets include entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. So we enjoyed that after taking a break for lunch.

The highlight of my visit was the Colosseum. Nice experience in a historical place that is starting to be restructured to become a full coliseum.
The worst thing was the contact with the person who was going to give us the entrance tickets. I had to call her by phone to get her to attend to me. We lost more than 30 minutes due to this fact.
