Fiumicino Airport, commonly known as Leonardo da Vinci Airport, is Italy's main airport, serving about 38.6 million passengers annually. It is located around 27 miles southwest of Rome and offers good bus and train connections to the city center. Buses cover all of Rome, including Ciampino Airport, while trains arrive at Termini station right away. There are also high-speed trains that go to Bologna, Venice, Florence, and Naples. There's plenty to do and ample airport parking available while you wait for your trip.
