Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel A strict dress code applies: knees, shoulders, and back must be fully covered. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended — the Vatican Museums involve extended walking across multiple galleries and floors.

• Colosseum: Large backpacks, suitcases, and bulky luggage are not permitted. There is no on-site storage. Baby strollers are permitted when necessary.
• Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel: Large bags and suitcases are not permitted; lockers are available on site.
