The site is magnificent, you wouldn't think you were in Rome. The guide was very nice, with important information to understand the respect to be shown to this site and the history of Christianity. The visit was too quick and we would have liked more.
The visit was fine, the problem was that the ticket listed two experiences and in the end it seems that it was only one, there was a lack of information. I commented it with Headout and they solved it.
Geoffrey's guide was exceptional and the tour enjoyable. Surprised by the price difference at the ticket office. A pleasant, friendly and accommodating welcome, as we were able to change the time of our reservation.
Good tour: competent, straightforward, friendly. I had the English tour (at 15:00) because I was there earlier. Changing from the booked German tour (15:30 h) was no problem.
This tour was much more interesting than expected. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. On the down side, when reading the info about this tour it says backpacks are not allowed and no shorts and bare shoulders. We were one of the few who followed these rules. Should be removed from info page since it's not enforced
A very nice place and recommended to know, the people who guided (father Marcelo) was willing to answer all kinds of questions. Personally I was very satisfied with the experience.
Enthusiastic guide, did speak very quickly.
Well organized, very competent guide
Very interesting visit, easily accessible by transportation
The historic site and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the Catacombs.

The treatment by Elsy Guevara and her professionalism and kindness. Without her help it would not have been possible to enjoy a wonderful afternoon.
Sandro's company and explanation was great, very meaningful and valuable for us. It was worth the visit...
Sandro was a great guide!! Thanks
The guide was wonderful and very insightful. But we had small bags and were told last minute they could not be brought in. The colloseum staff themselves were so rude. We had to pay extra money to store our bags but once that was done it was lovely.
The guide, Mr. Sandro, very knowledgeable, was affable and handled the group very well, he was educational and gentle. Thank you
Georgia gave us bang for the bucks! So many added dimensions to the Colosseum experience with a confident and knowledgeful guide. Interactive multimedial guidance in HD! Well done, Georgia, and thank you for a memorable experience!
It was great to have a personal tour - our guide was lovely- very informative, friendly and relaxing. We would do another tour like this one.
We had a very nice guide. Told short but powerful stories. Pushed us through everything. We only had trouble finding the right place for the guide but also managed thatvis
The guide Sandro is the best there is, grr re am person and explains excellent everything, recomendadisimo.
Our guide Giovanna was fantastic .
Lorenzo is a very good Guide. He told us funny and interesting facts about how the colosseum was used back in the days.
Pepe explained everything very clearly
great experience, many details and stories from the tour guide
A knowledgeable friendly guide with just the right amount of detail
The tour was fantastic & the guide, Giovanna, was full of humour and great stories. Not to be missed!
Tour guide, Georgia, really brought the history to life, with her knowledge and enthusiasm

Went on this tour with my boyfriend after a long flight, and it was a good intro to Rome. The guide was chatty and easy to understand even with a big group. Some of the places were a lil crowded, but I guess that's Rome in July. Liked the suppli the best! Only downside, felt a bit rushed at one stop. Overall, def worth it if you want to try stuff you wouldn’t order yourself.
I booked this food tour for our first night in Rome and honestly it was the PERFECT way to start our trip. Our guide (I think his name was Luca?) was super friendly and had so many little stories about the neighborhood. We tried soooo many diff things (that pistachio cannoli, wow) and learned a bit about why Roman pizza is so thin. My teen son actually stopped looking at his phone for once. It was pretty hot but we got lots of water and a little gelato break at the end. Would do again!
Such a BLAST. We were with our two kids (8 and 10) and even they LOVED the weird fried artichoke thing. The guide was patient, especially when my youngest kept asking questions. Learned way more about pasta shapes than I thought possible. Bring comfy shoes, you walk a lot!
Went solo and got a bit lost finding the meeting point. Once we started, it was nice but honestly a LOT of eating—I almost tapped out at the cheese shop. Guide was sweet tho, and helped me find a bus after. Might have enjoyed more if I’d come with a friend.
LOVED IT. My fav part was at the little bakery, omg the focaccia was SO FLUFFY. Our guide Massi knew all the shop owners by name and we felt like locals just for a night. Maybe I’ll try to make carbonara at home now (but probs fail, ha).
Can’t believe how much food we got for the price. Started with crispy suppli, then some pasta (can’t spell what it was, lol), and ended with gelato by the fountain. Guide was full of energy. Even gave us restaurant tips for the rest of our trip. 10/10.
We joined as a group of 6 for a bachelorette trip. It was fun and the wine tasting was a highlight. It did rain a bit but the guide just popped us into a cozy deli for shelter and more cheese. Some streets were a bit busy but you get that in Rome. Would recommend to anyone who likes carbs.
Booked for our anniversary and it was exactly what we hoped for. The group was pretty small so it felt personal. Our guide told us about how her grandma used to make some of the dishes at home. The sunset walk through Trastevere was GORGEOUS. Bring a light jacket if you go in the evening, it got breezy.
Joined afternoon tour with my wife and two friends. Loved the mix of sweet and savory foods. Guide was a bit hard to hear sometimes in crowded spots. The tiramisu at the end was dreamy. Would maybe skip lunch if you book this, we were stuffed.
Hmmm. Good food, but our tour was bigger than expected (like 15 people?). Hard to ask questions with such a big group and sometimes we waited for others to catch up. The guide did her best though. Not sure if I’d do it again, but I did love the fried zucchini flowers.
First, the guide was SO enthusiastic! She told us stories about the buildings and even pointed out a hidden water fountain. The pizza stop was my favorite—best crust I’ve ever tasted. I’m gluten-free and they even found me alternatives. Such a thoughtful touch.
Went with my partner and his parents. Even his dad (super picky eater) enjoyed the pasta! Our guide was super patient and explained every dish. Loved the relaxed pace and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Will tell all my friends to try this when they visit Rome.
Took the morning tour and it was a cool way to start the day. The espresso stop WOKE me up for sure. Learned about Roman breakfast (not what I expected). A little too many sweets for me but the history made up for it.
Our guide Francesca was a GEM. She knew all the history and was super friendly. The pizza bianca was out of this world. Don’t eat before you come, trust me. You’ll get SOOO full.
Tour was very organized, food was interesting and varied. Guide had lots of local knowledge. Only minus was the heat—July afternoons are brutal. Bring a hat! Otherwise, great experience.
I’m not a big foodie but this tour changed me. Tried stuff I never would have ordered, and the guide was hilarious. He did this thing where he made us guess what was inside each bite. Fun group too. Ended up going for drinks after with some new friends.
Had a nice evening with my girlfriend. Some spots were a bit cramped, but food made up for it. The wine pairing was a cool touch. Would recommend for couples.
Took the tour with my mom and aunt. It was our highlight in Rome! The guide remembered everyone's name and made us feel like a little family. Lots of walking but worth it. Still dreaming about that cacio e pepe…
It was fine. The food was nice but we got caught in a sudden rain shower and had to wait under an awning for a bit. Guide handled it well tho. Not sure if it was worth the price for me but maybe I’m just not into tours.
Super fun way to see the city and eat at the same time. Guide was engaging, and the group was a good mix of ages. Will totally recommend. Pro tip: skip breakfast if you do the morning tour.
Friends recommended this and it was a good shout. The food was the real deal, nothing touristy about it. Didn’t love the crowds at a couple stops but the guide kept us moving. Worth it if you want to try local stuff.
Nice way to spend an afternoon. The cheese tasting was a win for me. A bit too much bread overall, but that’s just Rome I guess. Guide was chilled and answered all our weird questions.
This was the first food tour I’ve ever done and I’m hooked. The pasta stop was my favorite—so simple but SO flavorful. Our guide was funny and gave us tips on how not to look like a tourist. Would do again!
If you want to EAT your way through Rome, this is it. Did it solo and ended up chatting with everyone by the second stop. The suppli was EPIC. Guide even gave us a little history quiz at the end with prizes (olive oil!).
Food was good, but some stops were too noisy to hear the guide properly. Maybe headphones would help? Still, got to try real Roman pizza and meet some cool people.

Our tour guide Aaron and his driver Miro are the best!!!
Aaron and the driver were amazing and kind. Aaron answered all questions, shared very good recommendations of where to go and what to do during this trip. I loved the communication, how he sent message an hour before the trip and how he sent the link to the meeting point. I hope to use amigo tour on other trips. Highly recommended.
Good tour guide and effecient driver. Well informed and speaks well in English and Italian. very friendly and approachable, really caring personality.
Trip was long but very well put together. The tour guide was good and explained the history of each place well. Tour was a mix of English and Spanish which was hard to follow at times. We expected more information about places visited but due to the timings it was overall a good tour and would recommend it to others. Be prepared for a full 14 hour tour.
Loved the city's , organized tour , professional guides.

The bus did not appear at the specified location, unfortunately there was no information about the changed departure point.
A great way to discover the city and its monuments by night.
Can't see Vatican nor Trevi
Honestly, the tour is definitely not worth the money!!! The bus was not on time, the team was incredibly rude and if you had seats downstairs, then the large windows are of no use if they are barely visible and the whole bus is fully lit!!!
I had hoped that the tour would also go past the Vatican. cover with Hop-on Hop-off Green Line;
Nothing in particular. But I did dislike the route that takes an inexplicable turn wasting almost half an hour around Termini station. Waiting for a bus 6 people got off but they did not let the 4 of us who were waiting get on. Without explanation and in very bad manners the controller inside the bus prevented us from accessing.
The night views were beautiful but without the video I couldn't tell what they were. Audio didn't work and when it finally went on it wasn't lined up with the tour. Should have gotten a refund.
It was a good experience. We could immediately get on the bus. The audio was good. The driver was good.

My 13 year old daughter and I love Roman history and our guide made it come to life. Despite searing July heat, it was truly an amazing experience that we both would wholeheartedly recommend.
Brazilian from Garça, SP, visiting the Colosseum inside in July 2025, the guide spoke Spanish, it was easy to understand, bring a bottle of water and a hat and come with sneakers and shorts.
All very well. Bianca was very charming. No lack of explanations and details of each site. Even with the extreme heat. For my part I would repeat with her.
Our historian and guide, Mircea, was exceptional. Knowledgeable, personable, and so accommodating. Both the tour and our guide exceeded our expectations!
This was a wonderful tour! It was very hot and our guide made sure to take good care of us. We learned so much and got to see everything we hoped to.
The monument was impressive and Said was all the "money" giving us so many detailed information that will never forget ! Strongly recommended
Seeing the Colosseum for the first time was a wow moment. But getting inside was just amazing and with the full experience of being taken around by our knowledgeable tour guide from Inside Out Italy made it quite special. The highlight was of course seeing the whole of the Colosseum from the arena floor but we also got taken up and round different floors and seeing it from different angles. Then after the Colosseum you're taken across to the Roman Hill and Paletine. So all in all it was what I would call a thorough tour the only bit we didn't see up close was the underground part of the Colosseum but you get to see the central underground section from the arena floor anyway. Well worth doing.
Visiting the Colosseum, or "Coliseu" as it's known in Portuguese, is an absolutely breathtaking experience that transports you back to the heart of ancient Rome. Standing within those colossal ruins, you can almost hear the roar of the crowds and imagine the gladiatorial contests that once took place on the arena floor. The sheer scale of Roman engineering is awe-inspiring, and exploring the intricate levels, from the underground hypogeum where animals and gladiators awaited their fate, to the upper tiers offering panoramic views of the entire amphitheater, truly brings history to life. The company that organized this tour did an exceptional job, handling every detail to ensure a smooth and enriching visit and helping to find the correct place. A special mention must go to our tour guide, Simona, whose passion and knowledge truly brought the Colosseum to life. She expertly navigated us through its storied past, pointing out fascinating details and sharing captivating histories that made the ancient stones speak volumes. It's a powerful reminder of the grandeur and complexity of a civilization that shaped so much of the world.
Our guide, Diego, was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent, funny and loves telling the history of his birthplace. This tour has a lot to cover in 3 hours so if you're not a fast walker/stair climber there might be better choices for you. The only downside was that we got instructions to meet in 1 location only to get there on time and be told we needed to go to a different address- for folks without internet this could be difficult. It wasn't far but was across streets, through construction, and down an alley- could have told us to meet there from the beginning.
The highlight of my visit was our guide Bruno was the best, he is an archaeologist and explained very clearly. Fantastic
I don't think I could have done this tour on my own. So much to see & learn in this tour, deeply enriched in history. Our guide explained so much in the time we were with her, & her ability to be patient & direct us around the huge crowds & other tour groups was well done. Thank you for an amazing tour & the opportunity to walk away with so much knowledge & many photos
Guide was very good
Grandiose !!! Magnifique rien à ajouter il faut le faire !!!
Everything was well orginised. The tour guide was great and had non stop information and history all through the tour.
Claudia our guide was very knowledgeable and a fabulous guide
Very crowded however this is to be expected, our guide was really insightful and helpful. She did a fantastic job.
I loved the experience as the guide was very friendly and approachable. Good organization in general.
No problem, everything went well
Crowded our guide John had so much knowledge and history was if we were reliving what it's like!!
Said was the highlight of our trip we learnt so much and he never stopped telling us interesting facts and stories. The highlight was the coliseum and said captured a fantastic picture of me and my girlfriend
Georgia did a fantastic job of guiding us through the Colosseum! Extensive details and many pictures to support her explanations. Great way to spend an afternoon.
The tour was fabulous. The tour guide, Victoria, was friendly and very knowledgeable, making our tour very educational. The area was very busy but due to the pre-booked tickets we bypassed all the queues. The tour was expensive and took in the colusseum, the Palestine Hill and the Forum. The tour was approximately 3 hours long. There were toilet stops and plenty of photo taking opportunities. The tour was conducted in English and had a radio set to ensure you could hear the guide at all times. The tour required moderate mobility with a number of steps being involved but generally was easy to manage and inside the colusseum there was an elevator. I can't recommend this tour enough.
our guide was amazing, her knowledge and enthusiasm for Roman history was infectious. I'd recommend this to anyone, we would never have seen so much in the time we had.
Brilliantly organised. Our guide was friendly, easy to understand, very knowledgeable and ever so kind and considerate - especially with the heat. Loved the tour and would highly recommend going as a small group.
Amazing Guide! Our Colosseum and Roman Forum tour was incredible thanks to our guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories — he made history come alive! Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Rome.
