All good for ticketing, scanned through, very long day and you do rush through Pompeii but the guides are brilliant and lovely hour and a half in Positano - LL and Andreah were brilliant
It has been a very good experience, personally I would have liked 30 minutes more in Pompeii to explore but I understand we have an itinerary. The visit to Positano was like icing on the cake.

I think it would have been easier for us to do Pompeii at the beginning of the day as it's very tiring. The rest is more relaxed, so it's perfect for the rest of the day. Thank you

This experience is perfect if you want to to spend a day to venture further afield from Rome. We got the chance to see Pompeii and to spend some time in the beautiful Sorrento. We weren't sure if we would have enough time in Pompeii but with the heat and lack of shade, we appreciated the time restraints and felt we had enough time in Pompeii. I'd highly recommend and it was the highlight of our trip.
I loved the experience of seeing so much in one day, Pompeii and Sorrento were breathtaking. However Personally I think you need to have less time spent in Sorrento and more foxus on Pompeii. I felt that we were only barely able to scratch the surface of Pompeii and the tour felt very rushed
I loved this trip, everything was so organised and our guide Rob (Roberto) was so lovely and funny! His story telling skills would draw you in!
The guided tour was well worth the price. Laura and Romel were excellent guides and really made the experience enjoyable. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I expected a bit more from the Pompeii portion of the tour. That said, the overall experience was fabulous! The Amalfi Coast was absolutely stunning, and Laura even gave us small gifts and helpful tips on places to visit. A memorable and well-organized tour!
Barbara and Antonio were incredible, Barbara is such a great host we were so enthralled and had the best day! Her knowledge and the way she helped us all was amazing, for such a long day she kept her positivity and kindness to the end. Thank you! The sights were brilliant and tours and stops were fantastic.
Very well run and organised, our guide and driver were both fantastic... Could not fault the day.
Excellent experience worth seeing
Pompeii was great. Sorento was also really nice. The bus ride was pleasant other than the traffic on the way back.
Well organized and good guide

Christian may be the best bus driver in the world! My guy has got skills, not only did he get us there and back I was so impressed I just had to tip him 20 Euro for a safe travel day! Mara was incredible, friendly and outgoing, she was extremely knowledgeable not only about destinations but sites along the way. She enhanced the ride by providing us music that was born from the locations she was telling us about giving us a deeper appreciation for the entire country of Italy and not just our paid destination spots! I would definitely recommend these two together if you're lucky enough to get them!
We have fantastic time visiting all the places organising everything online was easy and no problem great to be picked up and dropped back to city the attractions were amazing also the scenery and weather which helped the experience too 👍100%
It was great trip with fantastic guides and ofcourse best driver in Italy.
I’d recommend this to others because
Everything was perfectly organized, accompanied in a friendly, committed and informative manner.

Very nice program points and tight organization.

The transport to activity ratio was not acceptable. The trip to Sorrento was in our opinion unnecessary as our aim was visiting Pompeii - i.e. we drove in the wrong direction for too long. We would have preferred more time in Pompeii as we ended up only having two hours and our guide had initially from the beginning informed us that we would have four hours.
We choose the tour solely because it stated 3 hours in Pompeii. In total the stop was 2 hours and 15 min was gone because the guide had to collect the tickets so we ran around in 1.45 min trying to see some highlights my husband had wanted to see for over 40 years so quite a disappointment.
I did an extensive chat with your people WHILE on this tour. Your info said we would have 3 hrs in Pompeii; contracted tour operator said 1.5 hrs only. We waited far too long for people in Sorrento (45 mins before leaving w/o them) and then had to wait for the guide to return at Pompeii (45 mins) although he told us to be back at a certain time. So misguided. Never got "skip the line" tix, although prepaid. After doing extensive research for the tour with the most time in Pompeii were we were both extremely disappointed!!
Very bad and boring trip we didn't enjoyed
I found the nstructions poor and therefore my experice was bad
Very good organization, bus on time and clean, nice bus driver. One stop each on the way there and back. We had only booked the bus trip with entrance tickets and still got good tips from the tour guide on board, as well as during the trip in English and Spanish. We hired an audio guide on site for 10 euros and off we went. About 3.5 hours on site!

l dunno how this got rated as awesome. The trip was good but it could have been better. The tour guide Semih was amazing and kept it fun, but we hardly got to spend anytime in either of the island. Would have been better off to just go to one island and spend some quality time there, rather than hurrying and visiting two. Would not recommend this tour for that reason.
The tour guide was very nice and the location was also very beautiful. However, I would have liked more information about the itinerary in advance.

Beautiful city's, great and professional guide .
We had only 2 hours in Positano which is not enough , most time in the bus .
Our tour director, Fabriztia, was so good and knowledgeable, just the right amount of information to entertain and enlighten. The destinations were beautiful and the transportation was clean and punctual. I would definitely recommend.
Our tour guide was so attentive and the best one we had 20 day trip to Europe!!
The scenery was great. The ride was great. Please arrange more time for Almafi and Positano. Visits
We paid for Amalfi and Positano, but they only took us to Sorrento, the CityWonders agency decided to take us only to Sorrento because of the weather conditions.

Ms. Delavina is an excellent tour guide! She explained in detailed the different regions and wines along the way to Monte Ponciano. The meal at the sister's restaurant was delicious with the exception of the waiters taking our plates away while we were still eating. As a paying customer, I felt disrespected and was not allowed back to enjoy my limoncello. I had never had it but I did a very nice restaurant in Rome, so after all I tasted it! And that's what it counts. Andrea is an excellent driver and attentive to the road signals. We felt very safe with him. Regards, Luz Dunn
Amazing, trustworthy, clean, and informative. Ciara our guide was patient with the forgetful and the slow (which was me :!), engaging and knew her stuff. I appreciated she'd share details and personal experiences. She is a great guide. This is a great organization and well managed.
Very nice experience, Kiara very kind and nice, the organization was excellent. I really recommend it

The tour was very well organized, with expert guides (Sonia is a sweetheart) who made every stop interesting and enriching. If you are thinking of visiting Italy, I definitely recommend including Tuscany in your itinerary, it's a destination to fall in love with and leave unforgettable memories! Also included is a divine lunch with local products, made by the owners themselves. Very nice experience, I would definitely come back.

Aaron and the driver were amazing and kind. Aaron answered all questions, shared very good recommendations of where to go and what to do during this trip. I loved the communication, how he sent message an hour before the trip and how he sent the link to the meeting point. I hope to use amigo tour on other trips. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide Aaron and his driver Miro are the best!!!
Good tour guide and effecient driver. Well informed and speaks well in English and Italian. very friendly and approachable, really caring personality.
Trip was long but very well put together. The tour guide was good and explained the history of each place well. Tour was a mix of English and Spanish which was hard to follow at times. We expected more information about places visited but due to the timings it was overall a good tour and would recommend it to others. Be prepared for a full 14 hour tour.
Loved the city's , organized tour , professional guides.

Depending on where your day trip destination is, prices can vary from €85 all the way up to €299. You can expect to pay more if your experience includes a guide, food tasting, etc.
You can expect to board your AC coach/train from Rome (check your ticket as some experiences offer hotel pick ups), an expert driver who might sometimes also be your local guide, an exploration of the local delights of the destination, a potential meal and even some time to do your own exploration. At the end of the day, you will be dropped back at Rome. Do check your ticket thoroughly to understand what you can get out of a day trip.
From Rome, you can easily visit neighboring cities like Naples, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and Herculaneum.
That depends on how many stops are part of your day trip. If it’s more than 2 stops, you can expect to spend at least 2 hours in each area. If it’s two or less stops, you can spend between 4 and 6-6.5 hours in each location.
Yes. For example, if you’re booking the Pompeii and Herculaneum Guided Tour by High-Speed Train from Rome, you will take a high-speed train from Rome to Naples. From Naples, there will be transfers to Pompeii and Herculaneum that’s included in the ticket price. Don’t worry, travel hassle-free!
Yes, once you reach a stop you are allotted enough time to explore on your own, grab a bite, or click pictures.
Besides your ticket, you might want to set aside some money for the experiences you will likely indulge in on your day trip. These typically include:
Meals: If you’re dining at a much-hyped tourist destination like Amalfi Coast, expect to set aside at least €30-35 for a two course meal. In comparison, Naples is cheaper, with the average price ranging from €15 to 25 per meal. Note that these costs vary depending on the type of restaurant you go to — a gourmet experience will naturally be on the higher side.
Shopping: While this is entirely dependent on your preferences and purchasing power, it’s recommended to keep aside at least €40-50 to buy keepsakes like limoncello, and an additional €30-40 if you want to purchase, say, handmade sandals from Sorrento.
As these destinations are typically warm, wear comfortable and airy clothing in cotton and linen. For the style-conscious, it’s a great idea to sport sun dresses and skirts while visiting the coastal towns of Amalfi and Positano. If you’re visiting Herculaneum and Pompeii, wear sturdy shoes as these sites require quite a bit of walking.
Definitely! It’s a good idea to give children some context on the places they’re about to visit, so they can appreciate their visit better. Maps, interactive books, etc. on Pompeii and Herculaneum, for example, can pique their curiosity and encourage them to engage with the guide, etc. Carry snacks and light refreshments as the journey can take 2-3 hours depending on the destination. Once you arrive also, you might not be able to eat immediately. Note that Pompeii and Herculaneum are not stroller-friendly, so replace the wheels with a baby carrier.
