It was very easy to buy tickets on the website, directions to the meeting point clear and the staff was there on time. Very helpful skip-the-line tickets in the afternoon at 3:30 pm on Saturday, with the sun beating down on the square and the crowds ! Highly recommend !

So very easy to book 2 adult fast track tickets with timed entry to the Pantheon in Rome, and a very good price!! Downloaded onto our phones and scanned on entry, after a very short queue, way shorter than people who hadn't booked online. What a stunning, imposing and ancient building with incredible columns at the front and a vast ceiling inside with a circle at the very top and centre of the curved ceilings, which is exposed to the air. No glass in it and the flooring curves gently down to allow rain to flow away from the middle of the building's floor. There are also 4 perfectly placed drainage holes in the centre of the Pantheon's floor to prevent the rainwater amassing as well. Mass is delivered there daily, and there are pews and seats for guests and the congregation. Incredible, intricate detail are present in all parts of the interior of this building so you almost don't know what to look at first, a beautiful, awe inspiring building which takes your breath away. There are some descriptions of what things are or who people are, and general information and detail are available on boards there both in Italian, and English. You are also able to download the audio guide app onto your phone, so no messing about queuing for audio devices. Considering its age it seems strange to see the Pantheon in all its glory, standing proudly amongst newer buildings, restaurants and peoples flats and houses. With this in mind there is also a good choice of cafes and restaurants on the square where the building stands, and we had a reasonably priced coffee and croissant and a freshly squeezed orange juice which was sweet, delicious and as tasty and full of flavour as eating an actual orange. The cafe we went to was called Napoletano's at the Pantheon. Pic one from the outside of the columns, pic 2 is of the circle in the centre of the ceiling with the arced dome obvious, pic 3 is of the pulpit and main address area, pic 4 is the circle and ceiling, and pic 5 is from the outside of the right hand side of the Pantheon illustrating the curved nature of the building which is not immediately apparent from the front of the Pantheon.

Once inside the Pantheon is a marvellous site with glorious artwork. Our only difficulty was tracking down our host. Their street address did not appear on Googke Maps. Thankfully they were a very obliging team, when we found them.

I wanted to go in to the Pantheon at 5:15pm on 9th of April. I did not have ticket and the Line was very long. I bought the ticket in your Site and I had to go to the office to the next Street to get my entrance ticket. It was very easy and fast to buy. At 17:45 I went in to the Pantheon. I skipped the Line and stayed in more than 50 minutes. Thank you. Pölcz Ildikó from Hungary

Combo (Save 5%): Rome Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo Fast Track Entry Tickets

Sidestep the ticketing queues and enter two of Rome's celebrated monuments, the Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo, with this fast-track entry pass.

  • Everything you get at the Rome Pantheon: Enjoy direct entry to the Rome Pantheon's expansive interiors and gaze up in awe at the world's largest unsupported concrete dome. Admire the oculus, one of the world's largest skylights, and see natural light pool in at your feet. Fun fact: The famous painter Raphael was buried at the Rome Pantheon.

  • Everything you get at Castel Sant'Angelo: Originally built as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian, it's worn many hats over the centuries, from a papal refuge to a military stronghold. Visit the Treasury room, once home to the remains of emperors like Hadrian and Marcus Aurelius. Climb the spiral ramp to explore the museum’s military history and frescoed papal rooms. The fortress became a prison in the 6th century and held well-known captives like Benvenuto Cellini and Giordano Bruno.

  • Why choose this combo: Divided by purpose, united by Emperor Hadrian. While the Pantheon was rebuilt during Hadrian's time, Castel Sant'Angelo was intended to be his final resting place. What's more, with your fast-track entry tickets, you can cover both these iconic sites and appreciate how two of ancient Rome's landmarks are intertwined.

The address for changing the voucher into Tickets where completely wrong. We searched and waisted time. The only way to get the correct address was asking at the entrance of the Pantheon. Now we Had to search for this address to get the Tickets. The result was we we're too late. So 0 Points for the Tour. The Pantheon was great and the audio Guide OK. But we booked a Tour, which we didn't get.

Skip the line mean skip the ticket window (but isn't that why people buy tickets online)but the entrance line is longer than the ticket line. False advertising in my opinion. But not that long to enter at 5pm so I'm not totally disappointed just annoyed.

We really liked that we skipped the line. We quickly found where they give out headphones for the audio guide. Very interesting and useful text, we listened to it several times. The Pantheon is amazing. We didn't like that we had to go to the office for a voucher, which we found out about at the last minute. We ran to look for the office along the tangled streets. If we had realized this when we bought the ticket, we would have come for the voucher the day before.

Top things to do in Rome

Rome Pantheon | Ancient temple-turned-church

Originally a temple dedicated to all the Roman gods, the Roman Pantheon went through a fascinating transformation, becoming a Christian church that continues to inspire awe today. Step inside this architectural wonder and discover its rich history, from its pagan past to its enduring role as a place of worship. Its awe-inspiring dome reaches for the sky, while the oculus funnels light from the heavens, making playful patterns on the floor below.

From expertly curated Rome Pantheon ticket options to comprehensive travel information, here's everything you need for an unforgettable visit.

Things to know before booking tickets to Pantheon Rome

  • General admission to the Pantheon costs €5, but it comes with long queues, sometimes stretching up to an hour during peak hours. There are typically three lines at the entrance—one for pre-booked ticket holders, one for those who are purchasing on-spot tickets with cash and the other for those purchasing on-spot tickets by card. Fast-track tickets (starting at €7) let you skip the ticket line. However, you’ll still need to go through the ticket redemption queue and security, which can be long during peak season.
  • If you want a completely hassle-free experience, hosted entry tickets are a great option. A dedicated host will meet you at the entrance with pre-validated tickets, allowing you to skip the redemption queue and assisting you through the entire process.
  • An hour before Mass begins (which is at 5pm on Saturdays and pre-holidays, and 10:30am on Sundays and holidays), the Pantheon closes itself to tourist traffic. You can still visit during this time, but sightseeing won't be allowed. If you're visiting as a tourist, consider booking a slot 2-3 hours before Mass, or after.
  • A guided tour takes your Pantheon visit to the next level, revealing its secrets—from the perfect dome to the royal tombs. Small-group tours (up to 15 guests) make the experience more intimate as compared to a regular group (up to 25-30 guests). Prefer to explore solo? An audio guide, available in eight languages, lets you discover the site at your own pace.
  • European citizens aged 18-25 can enjoy discounted tickets. Entry is free for residents of Rome and under-18s, but a ticket is still required.
  • There's much to see in the Eternal City, so book a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour that grants you priority access to the Rome Pantheon, along with stops at popular attractions like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican and more.

How to get to Rome Pantheon
Rome Pantheon

The Rome Pantheon has one main entrance, a large portico with Corinthian columns. This is consistent with the design of many Roman temples, which typically have a single entrance at the front. Upon arrival, you will come across three separate lines:

  • Queue 1 (left queue): For those looking to purchase tickets using cash payments.
  • Queue 2 (middle queue): For those with pre-reserved tickets.
  • Queue 3 (right queue): For those who prefer purchasing tickets with card payments.

Keep in mind that the middle line moves swiftly. We highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to expedite your visit. Be sure to select the correct queue to avoid any unnecessary delays.
