Uncomplicated. The guide was experienced and left plenty of time for questions. We still had 15 minutes to look around ourselves afterwards, so if you don't like baroque, you don't need to come.

Hello This tour was very expensive: 75 euros for just two hours is too much. The tour was good, but the excessive price didn't seem justified. The regular entrance fee is not high, so you pay a lot for the rest. I don't think your guide collects 60 euros a head. We took this only option to enter at this time and you changed our time from 15:00 to 9:00 without any explanation . Disappointing that too. I will not recommend you.

A guide with incredible knowledge, who explained everything very clearly and was also very friendly, which is something we hadn't experienced in the Vatican Museums. The tour was an enrichment and despite the variety and the way it was presented, it was not overwhelming. I took away a lot of information and contexts that I couldn't read up on. Thank you!

Our favorite visit to Castel Sant'Angelo "**. We loved this iconic monument, which is both beautiful, well-maintained and super-convenient for visitors. Here's why we recommend it: **The big pluses:** - A **magnificent** site with a **passionate** tour - Super-practical audio-guide application** (with our own headphones) - Ticket cutting** which saved us a long wait **Conveniences that change everything :** ☕ **A nice café** with tables to sit and eat 🚻 **2 well-placed restrooms** along the tour route - super convenient! 🌇 **A breathtaking view** of Rome from the terraces **Our experience:** We spent 2 hours there, and no time went by! Between the cultural visit, the coffee break and the photos on the terraces, everything was perfect. Having accessible toilets and a place to rest really made the experience more enjoyable. *Little tip:* - Visit at the end of the day for the sunset. - Allow at least 2h30 to fully enjoy the site. - Don't hesitate to use the audio-guide (really well done) A must-see in Rome, perfectly laid out for visitors. We loved it! ★★★★★

It was a really neat building with a lot of history. I loved walking across the bridge with the Berninis sculpture, I loved seeing the museum portion that showed the different phases of how the building progressed over time. The statue of St. Angelo and the terrace were beautiful and the cafe with spritzers overlooking St. Peter's Basilica was fantastic.

The ticket purchase was very fast , very convenient from home, I wanted to print it out but didn't make it in time, I left it electronically on my phone. We arrived ahead of time , as we had been requested and have no line at the entrance, the stuart read us the electronic ticket with the portable scanner and we entered. We are from Rome, but it had been years and years since we entered Castel Sant'Angelo!!! It is a wonderful, wonderful place!!! You can palpate history with your hands! We had the audio guide who told us all the history in the various centuries and vicissitudes. It is spectacular!!! Reminiscing to the wars it went through, to the Passetto of the Popes of the Renaissance, of the rooms with the fireplaces of the Middle Ages , and then , the view of Imperial Rome from the terrace : a magnificent thing is unparalleled!!! One could see the monuments to the Unknown Soldier, the Tiber flowing under the road the majestic Bridges , the Vatican Basilicas !!! And what about the view seen from the refreshment point, from the bar: we sat down to eat something, and continued to observe Rome from above !!! Outstanding !!! Now I understand why tourists come in droves to Rome !!! These places are present are in Rome !!!

Wow, this was so easy to get tickets, download the app for the audio tour, share the app with my ticketed partner, and get into the Parthnon at the allotted time. The audio tour was clear and informative. Definitely worth the price.

I had the advantage of getting in quickly, but I didn't have an audio guide and I was very badly greeted by the hostesses inside the Pantheon, who offered competing audit guides. They made no effort to speak French, and were unpleasant to boot. It's thanks to tourism that they have a job....

I booked my ticket including audio guide. At the official stand, however, I was told that this booking did not count. I had to pay another €10 for the audio guide. That was very annoying.

RomeBorghese Gallery

World‑class concentration of Bernini & Caravaggio

No other venue offers four of Bernini’s early life‑size narrative statues plus six Caravaggios in their original context.

Authentic 17‑century villa setting

Artwork, décor, and architectural ornamentation remain in situ, providing an immersive time‑capsule absent from purpose‑built white‑cube museums.

Park‑within‑a‑park experience

Immediate spill‑out into Rome’s third‑largest landscaped park lets you easily combine your visit with bike tours, picnics, or sunset terrace aperitivos.

Capacity‑controlled intimacy

Strict timed slots ensure only 180 guests at a time, and create a rare 'private viewing' atmosphere. That's also why tickets routinely sell out weeks in advance.

Explore the wider estate

The Borghese Gallery is only a fragment of the wider Villa Borghese, a sprawling real estate comprising gardens, fountains, eateries, art-and-culture arenas and more.

Villa Borghese Pinciana in Rome, Italy

Villa Borghese Pinciana

The 17th-century Villa Borghese was commissioned by the Borghese family and designed by Flaminio Ponzio. Located atop the Pincian Hills in Rome and surrounded by the gardens, the villa has a light and airy structure adorned with reliefs and ancient sculptures. It now houses the Borghese Gallery, which showcases Italian Renaissance and Baroque art.

Access: Included with Borghese Gallery tickets.

National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art

National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art

Located at the edge of the Villa Borghese estate, this museum contains artwork from modern artists like Van Gogh, Monet and Jackson Pollock, among others. With around 55 rooms containing more than 20,000 works of art, there’s quite a lot to see at this gallery.

Access: Not included with Borghese Gallery tickets. Tickets to this attraction must be purchased separately.

Villa Medici

Villa Medici

While not strictly inside the Villa Borghese estate, Villa Medici’s garden is contiguous with the Villa Borghese Gardens. It is a Mannerist villa originally built for the Medici family. Since 1803, it has served as the French Academy in Rome.

Access: Not included with Borghese Gallery tickets. Tickets to this attraction must be purchased separately.

What do Borghese Gallery tickets include?

Borghese Gallery tickets grant access to the museum's renowned art collection, showcasing masterpieces by Bernini, Caravaggio, and other acclaimed artists. Depending on the ticket type, inclusions may vary — some tickets offer guided tours, whereas others offer access to other sites within the larger Villa Borghese estate like the Rome Bioparco.

What’s the advantage of booking a guided tour of the Borghese Gallery?

As this gallery is packed with impressive artwork from top artists, there’s a lot to take in and you can feel overwhelmed. A guided tour will enhance your experience through an explanation of the highlights, their history and significance, etc. Guides are also happy to answer any questions you may have.

Are there Borghese Gallery audio guide tours I can book?

Yes, with your standard entry ticket, you have the option to choose an audio guide.

Do I need to pay to enter the Borghese Villa or the Borghese Gardens?

Entrance to the Villa Borghese estate and the gardens are free. However, just as the Borghese Gallery is a paid-entry-only complex within the estate, there are certain other attractions that can be accessed only via a paid ticket as well, like the Bioparco.

Are there discounted tickets to the Borghese Gallery?

EU citizens between the ages of 18 and 25 get reduced entry. People with disabilities and their companion get free entry, as do members of the ICOM, students and journalists, etc.

Considering the various and multiple attractions that await us in the visit of our capital, I think it is essential to be able to take advantage of the proposed packages, such as Roma pass , this allows you to circulate with tranquility and ease of movement ,schedule the days and related cadential visits. The only aspect that I would improve and the associated map, ver 'that you have smartphones , but a figurative is always useful. the Romans are pleasant (if you pose in the right way ... often forgotten) then I highlight that overall and clean' , always magical, the second year that I do three days of visit ... but I'll be back ....ci miss it already' .By Max and Barby
